Kona Boys is THE place to go for rentals and tours of Kealakekua Bay/Captain Cook Monument. They have the permits to land kayaks at the monument which is great since one member of our group wasn't snorkeling. Our tour guides AJ and Hau'oli were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We had 8 total just in our group (2 kids, 3 adults... More

We had a fantastic experience on the "mid-day meander" (kayaking and snorkeling) tour with Dylan. We ended up being the only two people on the tour, which was a stroke of good fortune for us because we really appreciated the opportunity to interact with our guide. Dylan was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable; we enjoyed talking to him and felt like... More

Just finished a great afternoon of kayaking and snorkeling. Ours guides were helpful, knowledgeable, and funny. Saw lots of dolphin, had a great snack, and lots of laughs.

Kona Boys was recommended by a friend and it was one of the best experiences of our trip! Ben the tour guide was knowledgable of Hawaiian history, hilarious, and truly made the experience once in a lifetime! Literally cannot say enough about this team and the experiences we had!

We took the 7:00 am tour on Kealakekua Bay. The weather was perfect and the water was calm and clear. Two per kayak, we paddled to Captain Cook monument for our snorkeling destination. Paddling was easy, Life jackets are provided. We stopped along the way while A.J. and Dylan told us of interesting historical and geological information. Snorkel time was... More

Our guides AJ and Hou'Oli were terrific and led us to a very special snorkelling spot.We even saw a turtle! The kayak there and back was a great workout but not difficult riding tandem. Our kids aged 9 & 13 managed fine

We had the coolest guide on our kayak trip to Captain Cook's monument. Our guide Ben was the MVP and had an amazing time. If you are on the Big Island go to see them. Snorkeling in the bay with the Kona Boys guides was the icing on the cake. Thanks for the great time Ben!

You will not be disappointed! The snorkeling by the Cook monument is one of the best on all of the Islands. A nice leisurely kayak ride includes some interesting history of the area. Friendly and informative guide (Ben) was attentive and ensured that everyone had what they needed. Not sure if a group discount is offered (it was just my... More

The company was very professional. Another couple had also booked for the same time as us, this was fine as only my husband and myself were going on the outrigger. The other couple called and said they were running late. The staff took us out alone as they did not want us to have to wait. Thanks for valuing our... More

We rented kayaks and fins (had our own masks) from Kona Boys in order to kayak out to Captain Cook Island and snorkel around without a guide. Laura and Justin at Kona Boys were super helpful in securing solid equipment for us, including several extras that we weren't expecting, but which we definitely appreciated (a cooler and a dry bag)....
