Interesting but not a must-see museum. The coffee farm tour and sampling table are much more informative--and tasty.

Very interesting, completely stocked with old items, or good reproductions. Knowledgeable staff to answer all questions. Interactive, a shopping list of an actual is provided for you to find the items. The building itself is intriguing, made from the lava.

We stopped here and got the Portuguese sweet bread and then checked out the store. The volunteer was really nice and willing to answer questions. My girls played store and got to image what it would have been like.

It's great your girls got to have fun at the programs. We agree, Kamela (our intern/volunteer for the H.N Greenwell Store Museum) does a super job. We're very proud of her!

It's great you got to see our Portuguese Stone Oven in action and visit our neighbors, Greenwell Coffee Farms. It sounds like you had a good time! :)

The museum is small and easy to pass on the road, but they do some really neat things here. We specifically went to learn how to bake Portuguese sweet bread in a forno, which is a large stone oven similar to a Mexican orno, but...More

It was only the 2 of us on this particular tour and our guide "Ann" was amazing. Her knowledge of the Greenwell family dating back to pre-gold rush days was nearly limitless. She spent close to ½ hr. telling us about the family and how...More

This is well worth a visit. Located on a scenic roadway above the hustle and bustle below. Very nice owners who go the extra mile to make your visit memorable. Nice place to grab a simple lunch and enjoy on the back lanai.

I'm sorry, you will have to ask Greenwell Farms. You are asking Kona Historical Society's H.N. Greenwell Store Museum that question. We are neighbors to Greenwell Farms but don't sell their coffee.
