This is a great stop to see where the Macadamia nuts you love come from. The factory and store are nestled in the groves of trees. The factory has a nice, self guided tour to show you how the nuts are processed and the store...More

We visited the macadamia nut farm as part of a tour with MaryLous big island tour. We stocked up on bags of the nuts and I’m glad we did. They have a tasting bar there where you can try samples of every flavor they carry....More

We visited here on a private shore tour. Although crowded, you could sample almost everything and the products on offer were cheaper than the shelf prices in ABC stores. It is well worth a visit if you like macadamia nuts that have a variety of...More

I was hoping to really get informed on the farming and processing of macadamia nuts, but nope. The "tour" consists of a few windows looking down into a factory that, for us at least, was not operating. And had it been operating, there were no...More

This tour wasn't really a tour.......... just a way to get people into their over priced gift shop. We felt like we were tricked by false advertising.

Not very well setup - tour buses stop here, not sure why? They could use a makeover and something fun for the kids to do other than stare at 2 people boxing up nuts.

I am obsessed with macadamia nuts so we decided to make a spur of the moment stop here while in Hilo. The drive going towards the factory was really cool because you drive through the orchard, and could see all the macadamia nut trees. It...More

The "tour" involves just looking into some windows to see inside the factory. When we stopped by, production was shut down so we didn't even see that. We did the "Nature Walk" and tried some macadamia nuts to pass the time, but there are more...More
