A nice small museum dedicated to preserving the early Hawaiian paniolo (cowboy) history. There are a lot of vintage saddles, bits, spurs and other memorabilia.

Worth checking out to get a feel for the cowboy culture of Waimea - best to go on Wed or Sat when there is a Farmers market there so that you can even enjoy local food.

This was very interesting. Includes paniolos from all islands. And admission is free during the midweek farmers market.

This museum is where the mid- week Farmer's Market is, and a regular larger Sat. Market. Take the time to go through the museum, it is short, and sweet.

Nice place for a little history and relaxing. I especially like the Paniolo Hall of Fame since I own horses. We went to the Farmer's Market mid week and there was a variety of items for sale.

The mid week market has good local produce and if you get lucky florals. Always good plate lunch. Some plants. A variety of local crafts and photographers. Beautiful stop off for photographers.
