This was a small piece of the enormous Parker Ranch and the home was transported from another location. It's a fascinating throwback to the old days of Hawaii. An interesting film and display trace the history of this section of The Big Island of Hawaii...More

We are big on seeing a lot of sites in a relatively short time when we go places. In other words we would love to see 10 different sites that we spend 30 minutes to two hours on , than go to one big attraction...More

While the huge Parker Ranch is no longer offering tours of the Ranch itself, the headquarters near Waimea welcomes visitors weekdays 10:00 - 4:00. There you learn about the important place John Palmer Parker and his Ranch has had in cattle ranching in the past...More

Beautiful horses and so many colts may greet you at the gate, so don't wait to take a picture! Although pictures are not permitted in Richard Smart's and the original ranch home, it is still a must to see in Waimea.
