You can walk this park, use the clean restrooms and be ready to leave within 20 minutes. Very small and not a lot to see. A nice tree near the street. Didn't see a Teahouse, or fish !

Liliuokalani Gardens are large with 30 acres of ponds filled with fish, bridges, pagodas, and even a teahouse. The park is a tribute to Hawaii's immigrants from Japan. It is beautiful and relaxing. Recommended.

I dream of this park every day. Wonderful place to sit and think, or eat lunch or just soak in the beauty. Went here every day when I lived there.

Very near my hotel. It was a very quiet and lush spot to picnic and relax. If you have no time to sit and enjoy, you can drive through the park area and come out on the other side while still getting an idea of how mice this area is.

This is a great little park for relaxing and bird watching. Plenty of shade, small Chinese garden, fun for the kids. It's not fancy, but it's ok for s couple of hours to relax and sit by the ocean.

You might only see trees this magnificent and vines and leaves this big in movies-- except this is real. Truly awe inspiring.

Pick up fresh Poke and rice from the nearby seafood shop. Enjoy lunch with really beautiful Hilo views from this spot. Benches along the ocean side.

We stumbled upon the gardens while trying to find Coconut island which is just off the park. There was a hula festival going on when we arrived so parking was going to be tough. Fortunately we found parking quickly though the entrance to the park was blocked off. It was a beautiful day in Hilo without a cloud in the... More
