The park, gardens, waterpaths, trees and walkways were amazing. There is this amazing tree in the middle of the entrance to the park that has growth hanging down off the branches and it was very much worth the visit. If you are in Hilo go take a walk!

Great open park and garden. Great picnic area. Be certain to visit Banyan Gallery- close by - to see nice selection of local art.

A wonderful park right on Hilo Bay - a tribute to the victims of the big Tidal Wave that killed many in Hilo in 1960, Very peaceful.

Even with the rain, we loved it. It was near our hotel and we walked around and enjoyed. Peaceful. Recommended if you are near, not if you have to come far for it.

Took a little jog around the Banyan Drive area and decided to run through Liliuokalani Park and Gardens. It was a nice area to run or walk through. Beautiful sites to see.

If you are staying on Banyan Drive this is a must do for a morning walk. The paths are well groomed and it is very peaceful. Lots of other morning walkers here, but nice to get it in before the heat of the day. Walk out to coconut island to see the heights of the tsunamis that have swept the... More
