A peaceful garden setting to wander through in Hilo. There are benches for sitting and small bridges to walk over as you wander around enjoying the plants and trees

Beautiful gardens. There are paths and many bridges to walk at low tide. At high tide, the park floods and some paths between pavillions are flooded. Kids have fun walking throgh the water. Great place for a picnic. Lots of parking. Chinese and Japanese decorations....More

Cool down with a walk that won'l heat you up! Take off in a historic Japanese gardens with some ponds that have real giant gold fish! All free and even better with some lunch from the local farmers market near by.

Large garden with walking trails around the different sections. very nice pagoda. Even had some people fishing there.

Very pretty little park bu Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. Suisen is next to it. Yum! Not wheelchair or stroller friendly. In fact parts of it are underwater at high tide.

You will need to check with the County of Hawaii to see if you can book a pavilion at the Liliuokalani Gardens.
