Quite interesting story associated with them. Smaller than I expected. The walk to the top was quite good.

No rainbow when we visited. The waterfall is really small! It's easy access because you just park your car in the small lot and walk right up and see the water fall. You can then choose to walk to the top on the far left...More

It´s a nice place to visit, as the landscape is great to take awe pics! But no much things to do, just visit and enjoy the nature :)

We arrived at the Rainbow Falls after quite a lot of rain so there was a good flow of water over the falls.

Nice little park to get to and see when you get out of downtown Hilo. It's a short stop but worth it. This was part of our volcano bus tour.

We were on a tour bus but you can easily rent a car and drive to the sights.
Hummmm, I thought Rainbow Falls were on the Big Island. And Hana is on Maui?
