Relaxing location near Hilo. Some short walks also available. Viewing platform and grassy SA pace available.

No entry or parking fee. Great for all ages and physical levels. Viewing area and a small trail you can take to climb the rocks. Some kids were swimming, water was fairly cool to the touch. Much more enjoyable than Akaka Falls, but smaller waterfalls.

An attraction very close to town, it's a big draw but underwhelming. A small parking lot but quick turnovers.

The Rainbow falls is just behind Hilo town area, pull up in car - no walking required. Can't go down - just a view point.

The falls are really lovely but the site is very very busy and not the easiest place to park. Tons of tour buses and coaches but that's the reason, the falls are very easily accessible from the roadside car park. Definitely worth a visit but...More
