Fantastic program. Love it!!! Our guide Mel was very helpful telling us many stories and explained the local history. As we went to the Volcanos area he did everything we was expecting. Lunch and dinner was perfect for a tour.

First off, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park is amazing. I would definitely put it on par with Yellowstone, Yosemite, Acadia and other National Parks. The park alone gets a 5-star review. This review is for the “Discover Hawaii Tours” 1-day package for people staying on Kaua’i....More

We took a cruise excursion to see the Volcanos National Park. With little time we opted for a guided tour, in a smaller bus and a smaller group. Bear was our guide, and he was very informative, courteous, and an encyclopedia of local flora and...More

If you like spending half a day going to shops then missing part of the park. Skip this tour group. Lunch stop take away food. Totally not impressed. You look at volcanic rock. Then miss what you went to see. Apparently better in there winter...More

Our tour started with a private guided hike through lava fields to Kilauea. Mark was great at providing information and answering questions. The lava fields look like a different planet! The lava is black but has glasslike slivers so they are very reflective. Arrived at...More

Kona has a lot to offer. Even the Big Island is small and from Kona you can take day trips to Waipo Valley, Volcanoes, south point and Hilo. Make sure you take a snorkeling tour and swim with the manta rays.
