About Hawaii Island Skydiving
Hawaii Island Skydiving, located at Upolu Airport, near the town of Hawi in North Kohala is open for business. This brand new company on the Big Island of Hawaii offers the only skydiving adventure available east of Honolulu. No skydiving experience is necessary to participate in this unique attraction to the Big Island. Skydivers will enjoy a 20-minute scenic flight to altitude in our Cessna jump-craft; during which, views of the beautiful coastline of North Kohala and West Maui are easily viewed along with the summits of the volcanoes: Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualalai, & Haleakala. The adrenaline pumping freefall lasts for about 45 seconds, after which you will enjoy a peaceful 3-5 minute descent under parachute to a soft-landing back at Upolu Airport.

This place is awesome. What amazing views and an experience of a lifetime. Caution though, it was odd when we got there at 9:45 am for our 10:00 am appt. and no one was around. Not a soul. The signage is odd and we actually thought they were not going to show up or we were in the wrong place. But, we were wrong. They came up at about 9:55 am and got started right away. Was just odd but they were so cool. We got the link to the pictures right away but the video takes some time so we have not received it yet. The pictures were awesome and David was amazing. We totally recommend this for first timers and experienced sky divers. Do it -- live the dream -- enjoy all the beauty this island has to offer. We booked online but they communicated very well with texts and responded very quickly when I texted to verify we were in the right spot. Just don't get freaked out if you get there and no one is there, they will come. The blue metal building is their office and their number is posted prominently on the outside. Such a great experience!

New Company opened on the Big Island......it was Epic! We've jumped all over the world and this was by far the most beautiful jump! Small groups, epic scenery, experienced staff, scenic tour included. Snow capped mountains on one side, Maui on the other side, whales below, valleys and waterfalls on the way up. Simply Amazing! So happy to have Skydiving back on our Island

I was at the skydiving center on the big island of Hawaii today! The old company DID shut down, but a new one has opened, with NEW OWNERS, NEW STAFF, and a NEW PLANE! This is easily the most beautiful drop zone on the planet! You can find them on BigAirTours.com And on Facebook at Big Island Gravity Skydiving. Mention that Michael sent you!
