Great selection of coffee, no need to do self-guided tour

After visiting the Big Island Bee farm we stopped in to get coffee for ourselves and as gifts. The shop had a great selection of coffee, beverages, snacks, and fresh fruit. There is a garden behind the shop where you can walk around and look at the fruit trees. The tour is self-guided (you can get a pamphlet of what... More

On my most recent trip to Hawaii, I used the GyPSy Travel app on my phone to guide me around the island. The guide recommended that we stop at the Kona Pacific Farmers Co-Op to sample their coffee, some sweets and visit their tropical gardens. It didn't look like much from the road, but proved an interesting break from driving... More

I will be honest, we stopped here because I really had to go to the bathroom after kayaking to the monument, and saw the bathrooms from the road, with a polite sign for "customers only". I am honest to a fault so I went in and bought a small bag of dark chocolate covered macnuts after using the facility. My... More

By shopping here you are helping local growers. It's great place to stop on your way or coming back from Captain Cooke or Place of Refuge. We have been coming here for years. They have wonderful coffee, amazing chocolate covered mac nuts, and yummy homemade ice cream. The people working their are lovely and let you sample everything in the shop.... More

Really great stop for 100% Kona coffee, ice cream, mac nuts, and local produce! Friendly customer service including lots of free samples! My favorite was the Hawaiian rock salt macadamia nuts. Yum!

This coop offers free samples of Kona Coffee and if that isn't enough, they give generous samples of mouthwatering chocolates. I didn't realize that Kona Coffee had so many flavor, unique and heavenly. They offer wonderful ice cream and even have local fruit and vegetables (small assortment). It was a pleasure to visit this interesting place. It is relaxing and... More

We have been coming here for years - we enjoy the self-guided tour through the "orchard". We come at different times of the year but have never experienced the coffee plant in operation - perhaps because we get their later in the day. It is getting a little rundown, but I still suggest a visit on your way to the... More

Several years ago I traveled to Guatemala and sampled their coffees. Kona Coffee is just too mild to pay a premium for. It is delicious and I would neve turn down a cup of Kona. During my visit I was able to sample four coffees. I sampled a few macadamia nuts. I ordered a $6.75 mocha. A pleasant visit was... More

We have gone to have ice cream 4-5 times each time we've visited for the past 7 years. The ice cream is fabulous...especially the coconut and the coffee. One of the servers is a sweet heart. The other has always been a bit forced and uptight. Today, however, she humiliated me when I asked for a sample of a macadamia... More

We love to stop here on our way down to 2-step to snorkel. The coffee is great and we try to make sure to go on Mondays when they have brownies. There's no way we can leave without making several purchases of mac nuts, cookies, muffins, or some kind of fruits or vegetables. Service is always friendly and samples generous.
