Very nice marked one-hour-loop-trail. Nice landscape, very peaceful, no other tourists. We saw many flowers blooming (cactus, lupines…) and animals (birds, a rabbit, butterflies, bees, lizards). Bring some water with you, it can become very hot. No restrooms, not wheelchair-accessible. The mark on the tripadvisor-map...More

I drove up here on Easter morning. I had the whole trail to myself for the couple hours I was there before heading to Thermopolis. The only wildlife I saw were a couple rabbits. The geologic formations were incredible though.

Just 5 or 10 minutes off the highway between Thermopolis and Meeteetsee. Purples, reds, oranges, browns, and yellows splashed throughout this badlands depression with its towers and spires. Trail winds through the terrain and is well marked. A few sets of stairs wind up and...More

This is a cool stop and a nice hike. Good stop on a drive though the area but not a destination. The hike is well marked and has Interpretive makers, however there was no guide in the box. You might check and see if they...More

You will stop your car, get out and take photos. We don't usually stop at places like this and almost never are impressed enough to get out and take photos but we did here. Easy on and off.
