Great 3+ hour tour in a beautiful area with varied terrain…open meadow, uphill, downhill, and along the river. Snow mobiles take a little strength to maneuver but my 16-year-old niece was comfortable. Dress warmer than you think you might need to as the speed makes it feel colder than it is, but hand warmers on the machines are great.

We booked a sunrise, half day tour of Grand Teton National park through our hotel and it happened to be with Backcountry Safaris. There was even a little kiosk at our hotel, but I think they only use it during the summer months.
The pricing with this company is very reasonable and they pick you up from your hotel, which was nice for us since we did not have a car.
Technically, because of demand, our tour was actually with Teton Wilderness Tours.
Our guide, Gus, was fantastic. Personable, knowledgeable and just a flat out good person. He did his best to make sure we saw some wildlife, including 3, yes 3 (!), bald eagles. The experience was amazing and I would highly recommend it.
Also, I am an idiot and left my purse in the car after being dropped off. I called Backcountry Safaris and they immediately assured me that Gus would come back with it. I'm so grateful to them for this.

These tours were so great! We did a 10 hour Yellowstone tour with Casey and the 4 hour Grand Teton sunset tour with Matteo. They were both fantastic tour guides. Very knowledgeable,
polite, and safe! The views and sites we visited were unparalleled. They provided a snack basket as well as water on both tours and also provided a delicious sandwich, cookie, and chips for lunch on the 10 hour tour. They were also flexible on times as we had a family going with 2 under 3 years old. They picked us up and dropped us off where we were staying. They couldn’t have made it easier all around. Best money we spent on our trip!

We did a 40 mile Ebike ride through the Grand Teton National Forrest with Cassidy...and it was amazing! Cassidy was very knowledgeable about the history of the park, the wild life we saw, & all of the vegetation too! We learned a lot & it was a beautiful ride! I highly recommend this activity for those wanting to get outside the box a little instead of riding in a van or tour bus!

We went on a tour of Cathedral Valley in Capitol Reef National Park to see the Temple of the Sun and the Temple of the Moon. Casey was an excellent tour guide, providing information on the flora, fauna and geology of the region. His 4-wheel drive skills kept us on rough and tumble trek to the valley. It was an exceptional tour with plenty of time to stop and photograph the surroundings and just look at the vistas. Thanks for a great morning, Casey.

We arranged for a private full day of winter wildlife in the Tetons. Dave picked us up at our hotel on schedule and delivered a tremendous day of sightseeing and photography. Besides knowing where to look, he is extremely adept at spotting animals in the wild. "Did you see those ears twitching by the lake?" We would definitely recommend this excursion and we plan to return for a summertime tour. Bring your long lens!

My husband and I booked the Lower Loop Yellowstone tour and were delighted when we were the only ones on the tour. We got sweet Tiffany, our tour guide, all to ourselves. She and her knowledge of Yellowstone with the wildlife and region were probably my favorite thing of the whole tour ;) My husband loved the conversation, along with the encounters of osprey, grizzly with mama, and bison. Weather was amazing to stand waiting for Old Faithful, that did not disappoint. Molly, at the office, did a beautifully job with details of pickup and tour. It was the perfect experience with Backcountry Safaris, would definitely recommend and book again. Thank you!

An amazing experience. Our guide, Casey, was professional, knowledgeable, interested in the wildlife and the area, and friendly, even joking around with the group (when we were ready- trip starts very early morning!!). Overall one of the best trips I’ve taken.
I liked the pace of our trip. First a stop at a visitor center to peruse the t-shirts and books. I recommend an atlas of the area, or a book about coyotes.
Next a stop at the hot spring to hike the trails and see the landscape. Don’t forget to bring a lunch.
Finally a ride through the Lamar valley, chock full of wildlife. Stopping here to “glass the area” is a unique way to immerse yourself in the land with all your senses. Use the binoculars to comb through the tree line and the rivers. You’ll be surprised at how much you can see if you're patient.
You’ll probably see herds of bison, a coyote loping along, and maybe a lone wolf. Elk and pronghorn dot the area.
It’s a long ride back but use the time to soak up the scenery. You’ll probably want a little BCS-provided snack!
The best trips have story, and maybe it’ll go into the memoirs, the annuls of Yellowstone.

Our first trip to Jackson. Two couples -active seniors- none had been to the region before! First our tour guide Kelsey was OUSTANDING. She was knowledgeable, passionate, and amazing at being able to be an intricate part of our conversations. She made 8 hours feel like 2! Second the scenery, wildlife and flora were just outstanding. None of us will ever forget what we experienced. Finally, on a practical note the vehicle was comfortable and the lunch excellent. We would all highly recommend this experience!

We did two private tours - an all day tour of Yellowstone and a half day tour of the Grand Tetons - departing out of Jackson, WY. Our tour guides were Casey and Jay, and they were great. Showed us so much we wouldn’t have otherwise found by ourselves, and put us in a position to see bison, elk, moose, and a black bear. Highly recommend!
