Very experienced guides conducted personalized tours--a full day in Yellowstone National Park and a half day morning wildlife safari in Grand Teton National Park--and provided much information we may not have discovered on our own. In addition, they provided helpful pointers for the time we spent on our own in these National Parks. Highly recommended.

While I was skeptical that a guided tour would be a good spend when my wife, two boys (ages 12 and 14) and I were visiting Yellowstone in late August, I was dead wrong. Money well spent. Our guide John's knowledge of the Park and its history/broader historical context was only matched by his passion for nature/conservation/fishing. He fulfilled the monumental task of keeping two teenage boys engaged an entire day answering their (and our) questions with flying colors. We all learned a ton. John is a super-nice, polite guy with a great demeanor and knew exactly when to delve deeper on topics and spend more time on particular sites or even show us things/talk to us about things that might not be standard fare. Took care of us with food/drink, bathroom breaks, etc. and made everything smooth/easy. Was like an old friend after just a few hours. Awesome experience-- don't miss out! And, yes, we saw 7 grizzlies!

I had heard a great review of Wild Things of Wyoming from my brother. He thought they did a really good job guiding them through two tours - Yellowstone and Tetons. So, my wife and I booked a Yellowstone tour and a dusk tour in the Tetons on separate days. Making the arrangements with the company was easy and clear. They were very flexible and followed up to confirm two days prior. We have been on guided trips across the U.S. and other continents. After the tour with WTOW it was clear that Colin was the best guide we have had. He was friendly, accommodating, an extremely knowledgeable naturalist, and consistent throughout our almost 11 hours together. He worked hard to get us wildlife views, avoided lines to get us to viewing areas quickly, gave us some alone time, and was great conversation. Colin covered geologic points of interest, wildlife habits, plants, and history of the area. Colin was equipped with a spotting scope and camera that got us some amazing photos of wildlife - grizzly, elk, bison, deer, etc. Looking forward to going with them again!

John...Thanks for the wonderful review. It was a pleasure to show you and Lisa around my two favorite parks. That big old bear was still laying on that Elk carcass 5 days later. Found a little info on that bear, his # is 791 and he was born in 2011 and collared in 2014 when he was relocated from the Green River area to the NF of the Shoshone River for cattle predation. Nice to see a rehab Bear doing well. Looking forward to crossing paths again. Cheers, Colin

My husband and I recently visited the Tetons and wanted to do a full day Yellowstone Tour. How lucky were we that we got John as our guide! He was such a nice guy and his level of expertise was staggering. He knew all about the history Yellowstone and gave us very cool fun facts about various animals (pronghorns can run up to 60 miles per hour), forest fires, trees, and so many interesting facts about nature. He had such a great time and he did his very best to make sure we saw everything we wanted to and got great pictures. I highly recommend the Yellowstone tour and hope you get John as your guide
