We rode up the tram to ski off Rendevous Mountain, but if you just want to see the views it is worth it. The tram fits 100 people, which means the line moves quickly and you don't end up waiting for more than 2 trams....More

I enjoy the tram ride every winter. Highly recommended for experienced skiiers and snowboarders. Fun for just the ride to check it out. Waffles are great at the top as well.

We took the tram to the top of the mountain and were in awe of the views as the Tram made its wait up. It was packed with EXPERT level skiers who were smiling at their upcoming journey down the mountain back to Teton Village....More

We rode this only to take pictures, eat waffles and drink spiked coffee at 104xx feet. First this aerial tram is HUGE, it holds +-100 people. It climbs ~ 4000' in elevation over a 2.5ish mile ride. It is super smooth! At the top there...More

Even with no snow this is a must visit for the view at the top and also the waffles that are waiting for you. Unbelievable views that can't be beat while at the top and the guides were very knowledgable on the way up and...More

loved riding to the top of the mountain with the skiers and rock music. For non-skiers it gave us the 'ski-bug"!

What you can expect from a tram. Friendly service - packed. They sell tickets for aerial tour but they just cram you with skiers so you don’t really enjoy the view.

Value for money doesn’t seem to mean very much anywhere in Jackson Hole, and that follows here as well. A single ticket to ride the Aerial Tram cost $48 each (although we did spot a $5 discount voucher in the local tourist newspaper, so keep...More

Skiing Jackson Hole at Teton Village is world class skiing at its finest! The snow in the Tetons is dry, light and usually deep, with downhill terrain to challenge the most advanced skills. And due to the remarkable lift capacity there is rarely any wait...More

You can buy tickets in person at the window. It’s easy. We didn’t have to wait long at all.

I would recommend going earlier in the day. The tram closes at 5pm, so 4:30 would be a very limited visit. The sun doesn’t go behind the summit until well past closing time. A mid morning trip would give you more options... More

Aerial Tram (4 Replies)
We are going to be in Jackson/GTNP for about 2 1/2 days next July. One item on my list was to do the aerial tram in Teton Village. I hardly ever hear anyone talk about it. Is it worth it? I think it is $19 for adults and $8 for kids. Thanks!

I love the aerial tram and go on it everytime we go to Jackson. The views on the way up and at the top of the mountain are just spectacular. If you've never been on an aerial tram before its quite the thrill. Most of the times we have gone up there have been hang gliders going off the top. We usually sit in the middle of their launching area and watch them take off. I have some awesome pictures of them. There are also lots of trails you can walk on. You can stay at the top for as long as you...More

Aerial Tram Food (4 Replies)
Any comments on the nicer of the two restaurants, Peak's, at the top of the Aerial Tram? I have heard a lot of not-so-great things about Pine's Cafe, but there is not much on Peak's. My boyfriend wanted to eat there during our stay at Palm Springs. Would you suggest it? Or should we not even bother?

I ate there and thought it was good but overpriced. Its one of those things that once you done it once you don't have to do it again. I would say it's up to you whether you think its worth it.

Trip report! Active family vacation with kids 3/19-3/27 (7 Replies)
We had such a great vacation in the Palm Springs area! Thank you to all of the people who helped with my travel questions. We are a family of four, the kids are 7 and 11. We love to hike and see new things. Here is what we did: Day 1 - Arrived mid-day to PSP. Super hungry, ate at Guacamoles. Good fresh food, huge portions and very inexpensive prices. Got to our condo in La Quinta, went swimming, and had dinner in. Day 2 - Hottest day predicted for the week so we went to Wet n Wild....More
