Before our trip I knew I wanted to go paragliding for the first time; however our schedule allowed for only one specific day. I gambled and waited for the day of to book as I wanted weather to be right for this experience. Luckily, there was still availability.
The flight was amazing for my husband and me. Both of our guides were great with instruction and gave us and amazing ride in perfect conditions allowing for a nice long ride. They truly wanted us to enjoy it, and we did! Absolutely an amazing activity with a great way to see the mountains!
As a side note, they take videos and pictures with a Go Pro as part of the package. The guides all know how to transfer if you have an iPhone. If you have an android, they do not, which is what my husband and I have. My husband's guide took the time onsite to figure out how to manually transfer them from the Go Pro to his phone in order for us to have all files before we left. My guide took my information and went to the next flight.
I later got my pictures and no videos. Obviously they were too large to send by email. Contacting the company was useless as they offered no help and just said sorry you can't get them - it was a very poor customer service response and they don't deserve 5 stars. However, my guide kept trying and I have finally received all files. Both mine and my husband's guide deserve the 5 stars for the experience they gave us and giving us lasting memories.

I had an amazing experience paragliding with Steve in Jackson Hole. From the start signing up and getting on schedule was a breeze. On the day I was to go paragliding I took the back way into Jackson Hole and to my disappointment when I was about 8miles away the road was closed therefore I was going to be late I called the office and the Girl who answered said no biggie it's going to happen all summer just take your time we will see you when you get here (what a relief I thought I would be out all the money I put down) when I arrived I checked in nervously this is my first time gliding off a mountain.
When I met my instructor Steve he said let's go we jumped on the ski lift headed up the mountain we had a good conversation Steve was engaged in asking questions about my life and he made me feel at ease. When we reached the top of the mountain we headed out he gave me some instructions of what was going to happen and we send it down the mountain in just a few steps we were flying through the air. It was spectacular I mean it was Awesome!!! Steve was showing me things from a birds I view. Just before we landed Steve said do you want to feel some G's I said yes so he sent us to the left and right swerving around in the sky it was scary but was the best part hands down. We landed safely just after.. and I said thanks to Steve and off I went.
I had a great experience and a great instructor I highly recommend them.
Thanks guys Joe S from Michigan!!!!

t was a gorgeous day at Teton Village, and I could not help but endlessly watch the tandem paragliders that took off from the top of the Bridget Gondola landing. Sure enough, in less than an hour, I was in the village inquiring about a last-minute tandem paragliding excursion.
Because the conditions have to be prime for a safe flight, and because the guides can be tired after a long day of flying, it is difficult to make last-minute reservations and be guaranteed a flight. Trey, my guide, although he had led several tours throughout the day, and although the winds were picking up, he was willing to try to fit one more flight into his schedule.
We rode the Bridget Gondola to approximately 9,100 feet in elevation, and Trey gave a great overview and lesson of the rider's responsibilities during the flight. He explained it simply, and it was easy for someone like me, who has no paragliding experience, to understand.
Since the winds picked up, it was becoming less likely that we would fly; however, I appreciated the fact that Trey was willing to be patient and see if the winds would calm down. He waited it out with me, and, sure enough, the conditions became prime for flying!
We had a thrilling ride over the resort. We were able to turn around and face the mountain, which provided incredible views from a unique, irreplaceable vantage point. Trey also offered to do some tricks, like spinning around on our side, and I gladly accepted!
Overall, I would highly recommend taking a tandem paraglide flight. The views were incredible, and it was a thrilling experience for anyone who is interested in extreme sports. I felt completely safe the entire time and felt comfortable taking on the rider's responsibilities. Trey provided a high-quality experience that was worth the price. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance and in the morning for more surety that the conditions will be safe enough for flying.

My husband and 18 year old son did this and LOVED it! Wanted to do it again! As a spectator, I was told which kite colors they would be so I could watch from the landing site (approximately a 7 minute walk). My son took his phone on the flight and got a great video. About 12 paragliders go around the same time - just beautiful to watch - I suggest taking binoculars if you have them. And take bug spray for the landing site!
Bucket list experience and such a special memory! Highlight of our trip!

Paragliding above JHMR was a phenomenal experience that I will never forget! Trey, my pilot was super friendly and obviously very knowledgable and experienced. His clear instructions made me feel calm and completely safe up there. Oh, and the views! Wow! Worth every dime! I highly recommend JHP and pilot Trey Hackney if you want to have a unique experience that you will always remember.

We weren't even aware that paragliding would be an option in Jackson Hole, but when we saw others taking off from high up on the mountain, we inquired about it our next time up the gondola. The weather was perfect and they had an opening right then, so we spontaneously said "let's do it". It was amazing in every way and both of us felt safe 100% of the time. I took the controls for a brief sec to make an easy left and then a right turn. The landing was so smooth that the only thing that hit the ground were our feet.

Jeff,
Way to be spontaneous and take advantage of the weather and the open availability. Some days we are fully booked and don't have good conditions, and other times we have great conditions and open spots. It takes an adventurous spirit to decide to take the leap into the air on the spur of the moment.
Glad that you enjoyed your flight experience.
Thank you for the great review.

There were 3 main reasons our paragliding experience wasn't a very good one:
1. Overpriced. I knew going into this, that it was over $150 more than similar experiences I have seen in other states. But I assumed it would come with a more professional and satisfying experience. I was wrong.
2. While the tandem pilot had a mask, my friends mask was continually falling off his nose. My pilot didn't wear his at all while I was attached to him in the air. Also, I don't have the impression that the helmet and gloves that I was given to wear were cleaned.
3. The staff was fairly rude. As part of the experience, you have to fill out and sign a handful of legal forms (which makes sense). One of the forms asked Yes/No questions as to whether or not the student understood different parts of the flight. At the point they had me fill out the form, they hadn't explained any of that information to my friend and me. When I flagged down the info desk lady to tell her that I would prefer to only check YES and sign *after* they explained the corresponding information, she got quite frustrated with me, and rudely explained that if I don't check YES I wouldn't be able to fly. I told her I would check YES once it was explained to me, and she quickly tried to go over the information without going into enough detail for me to feel comfortable answering YES to any of the questions. When an instructor finally came to explain the information, they once again were quite pushy that I needed to mark YES and sign *before* they actually went over any information. In the end, on my insistence, they did finally go over all the information that I felt was necessary to mark YES to the answers.
My friend (who is much kinder than I) decided to still leave a tip for the instructors. When we went to the desk to leave the tip, my friend mentioned our complaints, and the lady was extremely dismissive of my friend.
Overall, I couldn't believe how bad of an experience it was.
Needless to say, I won't be returning to Jackson Hole.

This was by far the highlight of our 10 days in Grand Teton and Yellowstone for our family of 5. The flight is an incredible thrill, but we felt no fear due to the clear skill and constant reassurance of our wonderful and high-energy guides (these were tandem flights). We just ran down a slope and then suddenly, in the air! Incredible views of the valley and slopes. The guides let us take control during the flights, and then before we landed, they did "tricks" for us (hard banks, roller-coaster loops), which were thrilling (though not for everyone). I would never imagine that floating thousands of feet above the ground could feel so safe and thrilling at the same time. Kudos to the folks at Jackson Hole!

This was the best paragliding I have ever done, and watched. I watched the instructors navigate disabilities and older folks around me, and also start to give me tips to fly as I went down. I now want to learn to fly, they were incredible, patient and amazing. I will fly here until they won’t have me! I had Scott, Richard and Josh. All were amazing.

This was amazing. The check in was easy. They had space to add my son in last minute. The tandem guided were great. Made us all feel very comfortable. This was our first time doing this and we loved it. The ticket comes with a day pass you can use to stay at the resort and ride the gondola to the top of the mountain among other activities they have there. The view is incredible.
I highly recommend flying with them And if you have never paraglided before ~ try it! You won’t regret it.

The tandem paragliding is $345 a person. Anyone interested in flying needs to be between 40-220lbs and feeling confident to run downhill. Give us a call at 307-739-2626 with any questions or to book!
