We went in the wrong way to park in their Ranch lot (free for 3 or more people) due to confusing signage. We were immediately met upon exiting our vehicle by the parking lot manager who quite rudely and somewhat aggressively lectured us on our deficient sign reading and jumped to the conclusion we were sneaking into the parking lot reserved for 3 or more (free for carpooling) without paying. Meanwhile, we had our 2 year old and 5 week old in the back... =4 people. Although we shouldn’t have to, we tried to explain why we took a wrong turn based on confusing signage. The mgr responded angrily that he’s seen the sign and its clear. His coworker added that “600 other people saw the sign and went the right way”. We left the resort. …

Great mountain with lots of trails. We are beginners but did not feel out of place. Easy to get lessons. Ski instructor Jim Russell was wonderful. Beautiful surrounds and could ski right into village and get lunch. We saw moose along the trail also. Also booked snow shoeing with Sara who created a wonderful experience!…

Security is absolutely terrible. Some of the rudest encounters we’ve ever had were at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. One guard in particular was escorted away from us by police because he was losing his temper. They’re very clearly on a power trip.

Jackson Hole, when it has adequate snow, is one of the most fun places to ski in the country for those who like it steep and deep. We had excellent conditions with one big fresh powder day and a second where we hired a back country guide. The COVID-19 precautions are excellent with social distancing in public places, mask use with enforcement in lift lines, and limited capacity on the trams and chairlifts. This is definitely a mountain for experienced skiers given the wide variety of intense terrain and limited easier options.…
