We went on a half-day trail ride with GRBTO last week and had an *amazing* time. The scenery was spectacular, we loved our horses, and Kylie and Jill were fantastic guides. We had a small group of 6, and so it was a very cozy day in the saddle (not at all "touristy" or gimmick-y in any way). I used to ride, back in the day, but my husband was a first-timer in the saddle, and we both had a truly excellent time winding through the backcountry on our horses, Copper and Noodle. Beautiful stop for lunch at the GRBTO camp! Kylie and Jill were so much fun to spend the day with, it is clear that they both love what they do all day. Will definitely go back when we are in the area again!

If you're looking for an authentic experience (and not just a tourist trap!), with funny and nice people and great views, then this is it! Kylie took my husband and I up to their family's beautiful historic cabin. Her father taught my husband and I how to throw an axe (not your standard strip mall throwing!). The lunch provided was DELICIOUS- Jill makes a mean brownie! The views were beautiful and the horses were well mannered. Only negative was it was a bit overgrown (authentic!!), so make sure you wear long pants that cover allll your legs. Fun day, we really enjoyed this outing and getting to see a beautiful part of Wyoming. Exploring the cabin during lunch, teepees, axe-throwing, and the hammock were all so relaxing and fun. Thanks for a wonderful day, would highly recommend this over any of the touristy horseback rides!

Great experience with Kylie and Jill riding horses deep into the National Forest to "base camp" for the hunting season. Great experience-- great horses and lots of fun. Would highly recommend for any level of riding experience. And Jill makes a mean chocolate brownie. Must see the trapper's cabin deep in the woods. Will go again one day!

The absolute highlight of our trip west! We had visited a number of great places including Yellowstone and Grand Tetons prior to our overnight ride, but this trip was the one we will remember the most. We really felt like we were experiencing an authentic part of the West. The scenery is stunningly beautiful, the camp with the historical cabin, tipis and views of the Gros Ventre mountain range was perfect. Jill and Pat are terrific guides and hosts. As basically beginners, we were a little nervous at first, but Jill, Pat and Kylie put us at ease. The horses are well trained and responsive. We were soon feeling comfortable and confident as we rode through the forest and meadows to the camp. The food (we had dinner and breakfast) was superb. We spent a lovely evening exchanging stories with Pat and Jill in the old cabin. We would do this again in a heartbeat!
