Drove this route on our way to Jackson, WY for Elkfest. Great views and diverse habitat. Not too many semi-trucks which makes it a relaxing drive.

Much of Wyoming appears dry and uninhabitable. I know that’s not the case, that eight mountain ranges provide much vegetation and life. But people have the impression that Wyoming overall looks like what’s seen from interstate 80, except for Yellowstone Teton country. Well, along this...More

Drove US 191 from Vernal Utah to Pinedale Wyoming. Amazing scenery, great changes in elevation and it snowed on us also.

Hoback river valley is beautiful and the high mountain plains are spectacular. Area of 2016 fires. Road in excellent condition, doing some road work currently.

Along with the beautiful scenery (snow capped mountains, meadows, and streams) we were always on the lookout for wildlife. We weren't there during their migration but there were still plenty of Pronghorns to see.

Easy going with lots of sky and mountain views. Not much as far as commerce but a few side roads take you as off road as you want to go.
