I'm surprised by some of the reviews on this spot, I thought it was gorgeous! One of my favorites of our whole trip! The Tetons are just spectacular and I thought this was a great spot to admire the view and take pictures.

Oxbow Bend is a fabulous place for photography, but quickly becomes crowded with visitors which block your view.

We saw amazing pelicans and fantastic views of the Tetons. Some of my best landscape photos were from this turnout.

We stayed for 10 days and found that Oxbow Bend was the best place to photograph the Tetons. The reflections are outstanding at sunset and sunrise.

Among the top 3 photo ops in the Grand Tetons. Hard to take a bad photo. Also good likelyhood of seeing wildlife here. Moose and waterfowl are frequent visitors, particularly near sunrise and sunset which is also a great time to take your photos.

Kirk had a telescope that he set up for us to see. He already knew about where a Bald Eagle and Blue Herron nest where!

A must stop over in the teaton oarj or on route to Yellowstone. Just spectacular place to take in the beautiful scenery of the water, landscape and mountains. Different times of the day will give you different sunlight and provide that great photo shot

One of my favorite spots in the Tetons. Go in the morning and plan to stay for 30 - 40 minutes in order to see all the birds and wildlife - juvenile bald eagle, herons in a nest, pelicans, a beaver and two muskrats.

Can't give you a name, but there ARE many outfitters in Jackson. I promise that at least two or four can easily accomodate you.
