It was hard to find where to check in. The staff was not very friendly. For dinner we were charged $3 for a glass of water, and $4.20 for auto gratuity when we were said to go to the bar to order and had to pick some silvers/ketchup/salt and pepper ourselves!! We ordered an $18 burger which was supposed to come with bacon and pickles which were missing!! We stayed in #2 Antelope cabins which is very nice. However for the price (Over $250 a night!), they could put a mini-fridge and a microwave at the minimum!! Also there is no TV, but we never watch it anyway. Around 10pm the first night, a big mouse showed up. Luckily we're not afraid of mouses. We just closed our luggage, and put our food back in our car, and it disappeared. Finally the walls are thinner than toiler paper!! So don't expect to have any privacy!! We booked the horseback riding for 11am. I was very surprised to see there were 24 tourists on time and pretty much no horses were ready :( We had to wait for 1h20 that they figured out two groups, get the horses ready, assign an horse to each tourist so that we can finally get on the road. We had things planned for the afternoon, and that messed up our plans. Also the trail was not really maintained: some trees to go over, a lot of huge stones, not large enough not to hit the trees which made the work of the horses difficult. However the view on Grand Tetons at the top was great.

People in the office or cafe were not friendly. Our ride started late snd we missed dinner reservations. I rode on Clouds and my stirrups were horrible. Although Scarlet was a very sweet and friendly guide, having a group of 16 was too many to help anyone with issues. On top of all that we got caught in a hail storm 15 minutes away from the ranch. The horses were all pretty good but the trip itself was a terrible experience for me and other ladies I was with. Being first time riders I would have expected more personal attention. Brooklyn, the other guide seemed in a bad mood from the minute we arrived. They were short staffed and it took a long time for 16 people to get their horses!! Although the trails and scenery were beautiful, I was hurting so bad because of my stirrups I could not enjoy it. We all agreed it was not a great experience and will not go back.

We were scheduled for a two hour private horse back ride. Our ride was scheduled for 1:30-3:30. At 2:20 we had yet to be loaded on our horses as there were no guides available. There was no communication for at least 25 minutes upon arrival The facilities are filthy and even the staff was complaining about how dirty the dorms are as everyone that works there lives there. This is a very unprofessional organization. They did at least give us a refund as we were unable to do the ride due to weather moving in but they were not happy about it. Had we been able to get off on time weather would not have been an issue. Would not recommend at all.

Awful experience. Arrived and our group was NINETEEN PEOPLE and the staff was not at all prepared. Took almost 2 hours to get everyone even on horses. Denver, our guide, yelled at us and chastised us the duration of the trip to “keep up” or “close the gap” etc in a very degrading manner. Route was hugely disappointing. No big Kodak moment - no great views - literally a gravel road.

We went for the snowmobiling plus dogsledding full day tour and it was amazing!
The snowmobiling tour took us through the teton national forrest. They provided attire (shoes, bibs, jackets, helmets and gloves). Our guides Justin and scarlet were very friendly and informative.
The dog sledding was a once in a lifetime experience. They took us to multiple view points of the tetons which were amazing. The dogs were super friendly and fun. We were able to play with the dogs and meet some puppies after the sledding.
Lunch was amaaaaazing! Overall a great experience which we highly recommend for anyone visiting jackson in the winter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour trail ride. The horses are gentle and well cared for and the park is absolutely gorgeous. The wranglers give easy directions on how to ride and frequently check in during the ride. It’s a must do...we all wanted to go back.

My advice to everyone: DON’T even consider this place for horse riding. You are risking your lives. This place has no responsibility of your life, your safety, or even consider you as customers. We had a group of 8 people and 2 fell off the horses. When we started the course, one of our family member was left behind as her horse did not move. The guide Kevin just kept his tour without checking if his group was in line. After staying alone helpless for a moment, she waved to the barn and a young gal ran over to save her and radioed Kevin that he left one person behind. When she joined to the group, Kevin didn’t even apology but blamed her not to tell him. OMG! During the entire horse riding course, Kevin the guide just kept moving forward and talked to the voice that only the person behind him could hear. He never turned his head back to check if everyone was following him. When my brother in law fell from his horse, Kevin saw it happening and didn’t even try to stop the horse. He just asked if my brother in law was okay after he fell. Then towards the end of the ride, all the horses started cantering without the warning from our guide Kevin. My sister-in-law who was on the 2nd last of the group fell off from the horse when her horse jumped over a log. We screamed to tell Kevin someone fell. He just kept riding until we all screamed. Reluctantly he got off his horse to check out my sister-in-law. What he did was to radio the ranch that someone fell and not even identify the exact location. My sister-in-law was left there with no first aid or assistance. Luckily her little brother was riding behind him so he stayed with her for over 1/2 hour alone. Then another tour passed by and the young lady guide called the ranch again. After bringing back my sister-in-law back to the ranch, no one cared of her injury. Someone handed her ice and let her leave. At the same night, she had sever pain that we took her to the ER and found out she has 11 ribs fractured with punch hole in her lung. She stayed in the St John Hospital in Jackson for 2 nights after checking in the ER. My sister-in-law and her husband had to fly back home after the discharge from hospital and she’s still in pain with low oxygen level. The doctor said she need to stay in bed rest for about 3 months.
This place “Heart 6 Ranch” has no emergency procedures, no first aid training, and don’t care if you get hurt as you all need to sign the waiver.
My advice again: Don’t take risk to join this tour
from Heart 6 Ranch. If I can choose the rating, I will pick a minus. They are worse than Terrible.
Don’t risk your life. One more thing to add: This place “Heart 6 Ranch” is a total mess. Guide Kevin is absolutely not the type of person be a guide. He refused to take photo for us when there’s photo spot. The horses are not well-
trained. The riding course is not well-maintained. The place just takes your money and careless of your lives.

The horses and guides were spectacular and worth every penny! However the woman that checked us in gave us a lecture about booking on trip advisor and how we should have called them directly. She then told us that if someone would have called and wanted our space they would have bumped our trip because we booked on trip advisor and not with them directly.
It was a very off-putting start to the trip. If they don't want someone to book on trip advisor they shouldn't be on here.

This is a terrible run facility. You are definitely riding at your own risk. I had trusted them to put us on safe horses as well as the wrangler. That was not the case. The wranglers horse spooked 20 minutes into the ride from a man coming up the hill way down the path. I own my own horse and I am well aware of the behavior of horses but this horse should never have been put on a trail as the lead horse. He turned into my horse, taking off on a dead run. Which sent my horse and my girlfriends horse to do the same. We were both thrown from the horses. I was also run over by the other horse. It took the wrangler quite a while to finally get her horse under control and come back to us. I have a spinal fracture and my girlfriend hit her head. We were never offered helmets. I have at least 6 weeks of healing if not more. We drove ourselves to ER. We were given a refund on our ride because it was less than 30 minutes. I guess if it was 31 minutes we would have had to pay for that “fun”.

Disappointed because this was every bit as expensive as the more scenic 1/2 and full-day trail trips that were all sold out. We basically did figure eights in a field next to the dog pen and were not offered the experience to learn to mush the teams ourselves. And being the first and only run of the day... these dogs did what they do while pulling the sled... so it was quite a bit less glamorous than anticipated. Highlights were playing with the puppies that they have been breeding.

I'm not a serious rider, but have had a little experience riding. Are your rides just following the leader at a casual walk in a straight line? Can riders get off to the side a little on their own, maybe trot or gallop a little, staying in contact with the ride? I'd like to ride, but have seen a ride on which each horse just followed the one ahead for a nice leisurely walk, and I'm not interested in that.

It is a slow casual walk zigzagging up then a rest then zigzagging down. My daughter and grandson had never been on a horse and I had taken about 8 lessons ahead since I am 69. They seemed to gear it to the group so talk to them ahead suspect that they would accommodate you
