You may find the rest rooms locked and the parking areas are poorly defined so vehicles run all over the area. But open water is a scarce commodity in this state and it attracts and concentrates many waterbirds.

During the fall and early winter the surrounding lakes are great for duck and goose hunting. Fishing is steady year round. As Long as you have cocer from the Wyoming wind ice fishing the plans lakes can be entertaining.
