People put down UW as the cheap place to go to if you’re a Wyoming resident; I disagree. It’s true, 34 years ago I appreciated the resident tuition affordability. But I had been enrolled in two other higher learning schools and was extremely pleased upon graduation with the quality of my education here as well as with the campus and community. Now, my 18-year old is a freshman here and I couldn’t be more proud of him. The world needs more cowboys. I don’t mean drovers or football players but authentic UW cowboys; it’s so much more than agriculture or a hat.…

The campus is probably the nicest area in town. If you like walking, it's a pleasant stroll, especially around Prexy's Pasture in the greener months. Outside of that, it can look a bit monotone brown at times. Parking is a bit of an issue & sounds to be getting worse in the next few years with the proposed changes, but we'll have to wait & see. In a town with severe winters, you'd hope for more parking as close to campus as possible, instead of further away.…

What a great school, in a charming town. So much energy on a game day too! Everyone person we met with was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their school. We enjoyed our tour and meeting so many different people. Caleb was the best face of the school. His presentation was informative and personal. He answered every question we had with honesty and a sense of school pride. Hoping we will be a Cowboy family soon! Thanks U of W for all the hospitality.…
