The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes did a local event in collaboration with the museum and it was really fun! The staff were super nice and kind to all of us. I really enjoyed the history of all peoples that were told and that the tribes were included. They had a super fun cute lil scavenger hunt too!

Good way to spend an hour looking into Jackson Holes history. Great photos and interesting artifacts. It's fairly small, so 45 mins to an hour was plenty for me. It's in the middle of town, so it's only a few steps away. Check it out.

We enjoy going to small town museums to learn more about where we are. We found this museum to be pretty average. It didn't really tell us that much about the area's history. The video that was playing actually provided more information than the museum displays. We thought it was a bit high priced for what was provided.

This is a small place that tells a great story with videos that are worth watching. Lots of artifacts. They carry a number of local history books and a highlight for us was meeting a local author who was just launching her book which she signed for us. It shows how the town grew from nothing. well worth the visit.

The museum is one room of artifacts. The best part of the exhibit was the A-Z video, which we enjoyed. There was also a "scavenger hunt" for children that involved finding certain objects and counting the taxidermied animals, and our son was given a little prize at the end. Not a must-see, but it was a nice stop on a morning when we had some extra time.

We were the only visitors at the time when we went. The person on staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a lot of info even though it is a small museum. Information given by the video that was playing was great. Cute gift shop. Be sure to check out the display of photos of women in body from the area. It’s all along the hallway to the restrooms. Well worth a look.
