The sunrise photography tour was the highlight of my trip to Jackson Hole. I had a last minute opening on the itinerary and Brad Schwarm from Alpenglow Tours took me on the most fun quest for landscape and wildlife I could’ve asked for. At 5:30am we were in route to beautiful places to watch the Tetons covered in that golden morning glow, followed by other incredible landscapes and spectacular wildlife viewing, all while learning a ton of tips and tricks of the trade from an expert. He was accommodating, knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to spend time with. I learned a lot and loved every second of it!

I spent October 5, 2020 with Brad photographing the landscapes and wildlife of the Grand Tetons. I primarily photograph landscapes but wanted to get some good photographs of the wildlife as well. Brad provided me with guidance as to camera settings and composition. He arrived on time early in the morning and we headed out. We found Elk rather quickly on our way to the North Jenny Lake area. Photographed at String Lake, and then we hurried to Jackson Lake Dam area to catch 399 and her cubs. Although she was too far away to get a great shot I was really happy to see her and her 4 cubs. In the late afternoon we found Pronghorns playing in a field, photographed near the Red Hills, Mormon Barns, and several other places. It was great! I learned a lot about my camera that day and that I can increase shutter speed and yet not have too much Noise. Brad knows where wildlife can be found and the best time of day to photograph in certain locations. I highly recommend taking one of Brad's photography tours.

I certainly had a wonderful time showing you around Grand Teton National Park, and I'm glad that the tips helped! It's always a bonus to see the Grizzly Bears, and I'm glad that we were able to find lots of other animals as well!

I just experienced 4 of the best days of my life thanks to Brad Schwarm. His tours not only provided incredible scenery and wildlife opportunities but he is a great person to be with. He shared knowledge that made my 4 day trip exponentially more productive and guided me on where to go even on the days we were touring together.
As you can see by the website, Brad is a dedicated professional photographer and his passion and professionalism are abundantly displayed in ever aspect of his tour.
I contacted Brad at 6 am (4am his time) and after a brief conversation I decided to book this trip and within 24 hours I was in Grand Teton National Park - nothing disappointed me; and we overachieved my goals in every category.

Took a private sunrise tour with Brad Schwarm. He picked us up early at our hotel so we could get to the best viewing places for wildlife at sunrise. Brad has lived in the area for many years and knows the places to go. He also offers tips to get the most from your photography with recommendations on composition and camera settings. You will go to places often missed by the typical tourist. Let him know if your focus is on wildlife or scenery and he can accommodate your preferences. This tour is for photo enthusiasts with an interest in wildlife and beautiful scenery. You may say "ugh" over such an early start, but this is the best way to catch wildlife when they are active and to beat the crowds. It is worth it. Brad also brought coffee and pastries.

I had a wonderful time on my morning shoot with Brad. My wife planned a surprise Birthday gift of the morning shoot, but told me about it so I would have the equipment I needed. I exchanged email with Brad prior to our outing and he was most helpful.
Before we started he asked if I wanted to shoot landscape or wildlife. Since I don't get much opportunity for wildlife other than birds back home I chose wildlife. Great choice. Brad reviewed desired camera settings and procedures.
Brad provided bean bags for shooting out of the vehicles windows and positioned the vehicle so I could get good shots. Brads knowledge of the animal habits and whereabouts was invaluable. I was able to capture decent shots of a moose, abundant pronghorn and a badger.
The coffee and banana nut bread were icing on the cake, so to speak.
All in all, I highly recommend Brad for his knowledge, professionalism and overall experience.

What an awesome experience. Brad took us all around Teton NP literally looking for wildlife. We saw 9 moose, some pronghorn, a red fox and 3 bald eagles. We did run up to an area a grizzle stays at however she wasn't out.
Brad also showed us popular locations for getting sunrise photos.
I was really appreciative of Brad's camera knowledge, he helped set all our cameras up so we got some beautiful photos. One thing we really enjoyed was the one on one as we were his only clients that morning especially after seeing the "cattle herd" mentality of some of the other guide companies.
He had muffins, coffee and juice available for us. We would most definitely go out with Brad again next time we're in the Jackson area.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Brad and Alpenglow Tours. His exceptional photography knowledge helped this rookie get some fantastic shots using my newly acquired Nikon D7500. His teaching also exhibited patience which I found a must when operating new technology. This was definitely an experience I won't soon forget as it further fueled my passion for photography in one of the world's prettiest spots. And Alpenglow had a huge hand in helping quench my thirst for more.
Brad took us off-the-beaten path to locales bustling with wildlife activity, that also produced awesome Teton scenic spots and he has exceptional taste in music to boot that enhanced our galivanting around Teton County and the Jackson Hole area.
If you want a personalized photography tour from an extremely knowledgeable tour guide and photographer, with years of experience backing it, then Brad and Alpenglow Tours is a must when you come to see the Tetons!

My father and I traveled to Jackson Hole to see the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks as part of an once in a lifetime road trip. I hired Brad to take us on a sunrise photography tour of the Grand Tetons. Brad was a fantastic guide and even better mentor in explaining how to use my camera out of the automatic mode! By the end of the morning he had me thinking how to set up the shot and I knew what settings on the camera were necessary to capture my vision! We saw many different animals and birds throughout the park and spent the morning in awe of the majestic mountains surrounding the park. Brad thank you for making our morning a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget!!

Brad is nothing short of a phenomenal guide. Knowledgeable, friendly and has enough experience to know exactly where and when to look for wildlife. I am primarily a landscape photographer, and he was -beyond- informative and catered to my interests incredibly well.
If you're a photographer looking for an experience and beautiful images, don't bother with the large guided safari bus tours. I cannot recommend his services enough!

I was extremely happy that I booked two full day expeditions with Brad. He is a master photographer and provides onsite advice and tips which really helped me develop as a photographer. Even if I wasn’t taking pictures the two full days gave me such an immersive experience into the world of the Grand Teton National Park. We saw grizzly bears, moose, bison, elk, trumpeter swans and other birds. Also the panoramic landscapes were breathtaking. I highly recommend his tours if you want to learn all about the park.
