Great experience. Our guide, Phil, was knowledgable and engaging. You can tell he loves his work and was enjoying the tour almost as much as we were. Fun, fun, fun.

We had a great day. Since the south entrance was still closed, the tour went through the west entrance for what was 2 hours of travel but the driver made it as enjoyable as possible. In the park we had enough time for photos and walking. We made it to Old Faithful in time to see the geyser. many bisons. We visited the most emblematic places in the lower loop of the park. .

Exploring Yellowstone with Phil was an experience I will tell my grandchildren about one day. I've been a National Park enthusiast my entire life, but I've never experienced such a magical day as I did on my guided tour through Yellowstone with Yellowstone Day Tours. Not only was Phil great company to be around, he was extremely knowledgeable on the park, the geology, and the history. In the group he guided, out of 100 questions he had a correct answer for 99 of them (we tried our hardest to stump him.) Phil goes above and beyond to give his groups this, positive "energy" if you will, that only comes from someone who truly loves what they do for a living and it's as contagious as it is inspiring. Whether you're a hardcore backcountry fan, or just simply want to see the best features Yellowstone has to offer, I strongly urge you to use Yellowstone Day Tours your first time in Yellowstone. You will get off the shuttle with more knowledge on the park than you can get anywhere else. If you want to just mind your own business and stare out the window that's fine too, Phil is incredible at reading the room and tailoring each guests experience to make the most of their day. If I could give 100 start to Yellowstone Day Tours and Phil, I would.

We booked the one day yellowstone tour out of Jackson hole since they were very responsive over the phone. Overall it was OK. Our tour driver was very nice however he was very long-winded. Too much detail about everything that the group was getting annoyed. Fortunately we had Brian’s number and he was kind enough to give the driver our feedback and the rest of the tour was better. Pros: - plenty of time for pictures - convenient pick up from a location close to where we stayed - nice people on the bus - lunch and breakfast provided - plenty of bathroom breaks Con: - stoping to see tractors and other farm equipment - bus was a little older - cup holders broken off back of the seats (holes in the fabrics) and no storage space for belongings. And lacking phone chargers. - timing to see old faithful could have been better - not as much wildlife as we expected
