My husband, daugher and I had the pleasure of being part of the first tour of Yellowstone lead by our guide, Eddie. When I was researching a tour, I wanted everything included, i.e. transportation, admittance to the park and lunch. We only had one day to see Yellowstone and this tour more than exceeded my expectations and requirements. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We were picked up right at our hotel, the Lexington (wonderful hotel) in Jackson Hole and provided with breakfast foods during our ride to Yellowstone. Although the day is long (12 hours), it is filled with many beautiful and amazing sights. A side perk to the trip is seeing the Grand Tetons. You can see them on the way up to Yellowstone but on the way back we drove thru the Grand Teton National Park and got to see them up close. The trip also was at the start of the season so we didn't experience crowds and were lucky that the day was mild. Eddie and Brian were a font of knowledge on the area and were very accommodating of any special requests we had. We were able to see Old Faithful erupt, numerous geysers, mud pots, waterfalls, and many of the wildlife in the area including buffalo, coyote, elk. The sighting of a bear in its natural habitat was the icing on the cake. We stopped at a picnic area for lunch which included sandwich, chips, apple, cookie and drink. Even though we were only able to see the lower loop, the experience of this tour along with Eddie and Brian's knowledge broadened our understanding of Yellowstone's wonders. We wish Brian and Eddie good luck.
