Nate and Eric hosted our dinner float trip and we had a fantastic time. Nate was a skilled guide and navigator, full of local information about region, geography and wildlife. The scenery was beautiful and the weather gorgeous.
Eric met us downstream, where he had prepared a great meal on tables with tablecloths on a gravel bar. After dinner, we concluded the trip with another hour of cruising and then returned safely to our cars at the starting point.
We highly recommend Black Dog Raft Company and look forward to cruising with them again!

We were looking for a dog friendly excursion and came across this raft ride down the Snake River. It was the most AMAZING experience! Our dog was so happy and enjoyed every moment of it! Eric was our guide and he was so nice and so knowledgeable about the history of Jackson Hole and the river. This was absolutely the BEST day of our trip! We highly recommend this excursion to anyone traveling to Jackson Hole with their dog!

Our Family absolutely LOVED our Scenic ride! Our 5, 3 and 1 year old got a kick out of the little rapids 1/2 way through the ride and have been talking about all of the Eagles we saw non-stop! It was the hit of our trip! I can not recommend Eric more! It was a great morning!

This is my third Black Dog trip and there's a reason I keep coming back - it just keeps getting better and better!
We went with 15 people on a bachelorette party and had the best time. It is the perfect activity for a big group (or a small one!) and many of the guests were in awe of the beauty the whole time. This stretch of the river has incredible Teton views almost the whole time but is a great way to see Jackson outside of Grand Teton National Park.
We had two boats and Nate and Eric were incredible guides. They picked us up at our hotel right on time, pointed out wildlife, and were incredibly accommodating with some last-minute changes.
This time around, I brought my dog who had so much fun. If you're thinking about going with Black Dog, do it!

This was our second trip with Black Dog Rafting . Nate was our guide. Very mellow and friendly. He was able to answer all of our questions regarding the river, history, topography, flora and fauna. We took the afternoon float so we did not see a lot of wildlife ( we did see several bald eagles) but it was a quiet and relaxing tour of a beautiful river. Great way to spend a few hours looking at a beautiful river.

This float company accommodated our family of 13 (ages 4-72) on a scenic trip down the Snake River. Eric was so enthusiastic, as well as knowledgeable about the area….but he also allowed us to appreciate the tranquility of our journey at times. When it started to rain, he was quick to provide ponchos. We were able to see a variety of birds/animals but our teenager was most impressed with seeing 17 bald eagles! Being picked up/returned to the Elk Country IInn was a bonus. It was well worth the money and we would highly recommend Black Dog Float Company!

We had a fantastic experience with Black Dog Raft Company! First, thank you for offering an experience that allowed us to bring our dog. We've been traveling around the country for 10 weeks, and this was the only rafting company we found that allowed it. We did a 2 hour evening float trip with Sandy. He was an excellent guide - kept our children entertained by having them spot eagles (24 total!), let them get out to swim when appropriate, etc - and also kept the adults entertained with lots of information about the local area. I highly recommend this experience to anyone in the Jackson Hole area, and especially families with kids and/or dogs!

Excellent company for a scenic float trip! We traveled the Snake River today with our guide, Sandy. The conversation, the views, and the hospitality were all 5 stars. Our two sons were along for the trip (ages 6 & 2). Sandy made all of us feel comfortable. He did an excellent job navigating the waters - even amidst the evening shower we had the pleasure of encountering! Would highly recommend this group to anyone - especially people with small kids!

Our group of 10 (ages 65-3) did the scenic river float in late June and it was great! Our guide was so knowledgeable of the area and wildlife. We saw lots of bald eagles, a couple deer and many other types of birds. The communication was great, too! I highly recommend this company for a scenic float - especially if you have little ones.

The “icing” on our family vacation! We took a private family scenic float trip dog included, down the beautiful Snake river, with the picturesque Teton mountains in the background. The professionalism of the company was second to none. From the onset of the booking process, to the extremely knowledgeable and informative guide (Tyler White) our family was being provided a First Class service! Even though our family has been to Wyoming almost every year since 1990 this will be one of our best memories ever made. Thank you Black Dog Radting Co.

Would this "float" trip be more relaxing? We are both in or 60's and don't want to have to overcome large rapids. Thank you.

YES!! We are both in out 60's..Was very easy getting and out of the float..They even had steps to aid in getting in and out of the van.I would highly recommend this trip.I can't say enough about this early morning float trip
