Good place to stay with children.

Nice place to stay with kids who are just learning how to ski. It's also close to town, has other activities like snow tubes and ice skating.

Don't trust their website, they don't keep it updated and information is inaccurate. We planned our entire day around taking the kids tubing because the website says tubing is open, we get there and it's closed for the season despite skiing still going. Kids start crying and the second half of our day is basically ruined. Not that tough to... More

Locals use this as their daily work out. 45 minutes to an hour to summit depending how used to altitude you are. Great path, and spectacular view of the "Hole". Hike up and buy a ticket to ride the chair down or just ride. June til labor Day for the chair

So you landed at JAC at noon and would like to get some time on the slopes to adjust to the altitude on some steep stuff. Rather than spend $100 for a half day at Teton Village you can get a half day for less than $40 or night skiing for $25 at Snow King right in Jackson. I like... More

wow yep this was steep for a first time on a board for a year, im by no means an expert but we knocked this mountain out in a day, its not used to much, the lifts were slow and the drop at the end of them wakes you up, when you get to the main Jackson hole mountain you... More

Talk about convenient - Snow King is right in town and so easy to get to and use. Plus, the slopes make a great background montage from town. Seems to have good assorted amenities all around. We did the snow tubing and it was a fun treat. Can't get enough snow - while on vacation. Enjoy......

We rode the lift to the top for great views of Jackson & Tetons. The staff is wonderful & accommodates everyone! The Cowboy Coaster is a hoot & we tried the tube slide but it's a little too rough for our age. Inside at ice rink got to watch ice hockey tournament that was very enjoyable.

Thanks for the great review! It's always nice for our staff to be recognized for their efforts - I'll be sure to pass along the kudos. We're putting in a mini golf course this summer so please stop by and give that a shot if you're in the neighborhood. Thanks again! More

We stayed in a private condo behind the resort and the kids could walk to the resort and the mountain. We went tubing, ice skating, and did the alpine coaster--all literally across the street. Lots of fun for the whole family.

Thanks for the excellent review nll909! Glad to hear you had a good time. It sounds like you really got the full King experience. We're gearing up for an incredible summer here so keep us on the radar for the next family trip. The coaster will be open, along with the Treetop Adventure (a new ropes course), mini-golf, a bungee... More

While the mountain and facility were quite beautiful, the experience was far from smooth for people brand new to skiing. The equipment rental overcharged us, where to go was never clearly marked, and the barrier of entry was very high considering astronomical learning curve between the bunny slopes and the next level of difficulty slope.

Hi there and thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience, and I hope that the rental shop was able to correct their mistake. We know that the beginner terrain is a big jump from the rope tow to the Rafferty lift and we're working on creating new beginner terrain over the next several seasons.... More
