The best elk hunting with great people and deluxe tent accommodations. I have elk or deer hunted in the mountains of Wyoming, Montana, Idaho or Colorado 42 times in 44 years and there is no place I would rather hunt than with the super folks at Wilderness Trails. Long time family have new partners and even better facilities. Great elk herd, 2 true trophies in 3 hunts.

Amazing experience!! Every one of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, our guide, Andrew, was awesome. The horses were beautiful and calm, putting everyone at ease, including the inexperienced riders. The absolute best way to take in the natural beauty of the area. Would highly recommend.

We had a great trip to Yellowstone with Andrew. My daughter loves horses and this trip didn’t disappoint. The horses were perfect and we saw deer and moose! We had a perfect lunch by a river. I couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Alan and I did the afternoon ride, followed by bedroll & breakfast, then a full-day ride the next day. Gwyn, Stefanie, Ryan and Owen looked after us like we were family! The food was delicious, beds were warm and comfy and the riding experiences were breathtaking! Well- behaved horses took us up and down the surrounding trails through dramatic forest and open meadow. Had a lovely chat with Robyn at the end just as we left. We are horse people ourselves and were very glad to see that the horses were well cared for and equipped. Get Owen to demonstrate some of his original music for you!

Had a fun and memorable time we definitely would recommend Wilderness Trails! We, the family of 4, got the horse packing and the breakfast, this place is located inside Yellowstone park 50 mints from the Jackson hole, located in a beautiful place, near snake river, friendly and accommodating staff, clean beds, healthy happy horses, nice appetizers, delicious dinner, coffee, and breakfast, lovely dogs, they provided also a nice traditional Campfire S'mores for us while we enjoyed campfire from the afternoon until all the stars came out. The ride was scenic and fun we saw many beautiful wild flowers, fresh creeks, green hills and forest, our guid was professional and friendly. Thank you so much for a memorable trip and your hospitality we will be back:>))

The kind, patient and caring personalities at Wilderness Trails was a standout. Our 7 day pack string trip was to the beautiful back country guided by Thomas Clover. Allison, Hunter, Andrew and Brad were diverse in experience and talent as they each brought something special to the trip. I definitely would recommend Wilderness Trails!

Wilderness Trails was amazing! My favorite part was seeing the wildlife on the trails. Gwen was an awesome guide. We enjoyed the food and the accommodations were perfect for roughing it smoothly! Definitely recommend and have already booked our next trip with them! 10/10

From the moment we arrived at the base camp, my wife and I were greeted with warmth and friendliness all around, from the people to the horses to the dogs. We rode just the two of us with Gwen as our guide, for 3 hours. We loved our horses (Collum and Cottonwood), and we loved riding slowly but surely along the meandering paths through beautiful woods. Even saw a bear at one point, but he/she scampered away too quickly for a photo. Overall, a treasured 3 hours!
Just one caveat: since it’s not easy to find the camp, make sure like we did to get explicit directions in advance from whomever from Wliderness Trails you speak to by phone.

I would recommend this to everyone! We booked a 3 hour ride and our two guides were awesome in leading us into the beautiful Teton national forest. Felt very safe and peaceful the beautiful Wyoming. They even welcomed us in their cozy tent for hot coffee when we arrived and went way over the time for our ride. You can feel the passion that they have for their horses and making sure you have a great ride. You won’t regret the adventure! Thanks so much for a ride of a lifetime!♥️ Gigi and crew
