    Best vacation ever!
My family and I were looking for a fun summer getaway and this was just the place! It is a cool remote horseback experience that you can't get anywhere else. Our young kids loved it and already want to go back. We felt very safe with the trailguides, you are in good hands here! A major plus was the drive up fall creek road, it was SO pretty and we even saw a fox which our kids loved to point out! We will definitely be making this our summer vacation spot! 10/10!!

10/10 for North Fork Trail Rides
10/10. The hosts/guides are fantastic! We felt comfortable the second we got out of the truck. We went for a short ride, and decided after the ride we would gladly go for a much longer one time next time. Jennie was an awesome guide and asked us some questions on our ride, told us about the area, about their family, all of which we enjoyed.. but she also let us just enjoy the ride and the beautiful sounds from the horses and nature. All three of our boys, 14, 11 & 7, said the trail ride was their favorite thing we did on our vacation. I highly suggest North Fork Trail Rides. We will be back the next time we’re in the area.
Thank you for bringing your family out to our new location at North fork trail rides and Glamping. Such a beautiful area to explore. Can’t wait to show you everyone how beautiful it is up in our Ridge overlooking the Tetons. Thank you again for joining us Richard, North fork trail rides, and Glamping.

    Magical and Breathtaking!
Jenny did an amazing job from the minute we booked it to the time we got off the horses. You can tell she has a true passion and love for horses. The whole experience was magical and the views were breathtaking. My daughter said it was the highlight of our week long trip to Wyoming. She said she can’t wait to come back and we definitely will. This was the best horseback riding experience we ever had.

Amazing views on a fun ride
The trail you take is incredible! The views all the way around are amazing. Instead of hiking, it was really fun to ride the horse and not have to watch my step or even climb the inclines. Such an easy way to spend a few hours in a gorgeous area. Just pay attention to the directions and if you have a car (instead of a truck) give it a little extra time to navigate the gravel road as it can get a bit bumpy.

    Amazing Horseback ride w/best guide!
Today Kevin took us on a delightful ride through the most stunning scenic trail in the canyons of Wyoming. Great conversationalist, beautiful views, and strong, steady horses. Coyle was the best cowboy helper. Definitely a go!

We read the reviews of a ok corral and were excited for a fun ride, but wound up leaving 10 minutes in due to safety concerns. To start, I rode horses for 15 years and have worked at a half dozen stables, so am very experienced in safety protocols and normal horse behavior. We drove up and I immediately noticed children (aged 6-10) riding without helmets, people riding in shorts and no questions about what levels riders were when assigning horses. We decided to give them a chance and started the ride, it was 4 adults and 2 children with one guide. We started riding along a road and all 5 horses except mine were constantly eating, with the guide waiting up front doing nothing to help. When she stopped 10 minutes in to check saddles my boyfriends horse walked across the road to get better grass, and as a beginner he couldn’t get the horse back and they just let it keep wandering. At this point I called it and asked for a refund and for us to go back as there was no way we would enjoy this ride. I think most of these problems could have been avoided with a second guide on the ride and better safety protocols, but they seem to feed on tourists who do not know better and are just happy to find a cheap place to ride last minute. I feel bad leaving this review as I know they are small and family owned, but I seriously feel like it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. As far as positives go, their horses looked well cared for and I think they could have a good operation if they enforced some basic safety rules and had 2 guides on rides with beginners, even if that meant they had to charge more. Finally, even though they gave me a receipt for the refund it never went through and I had to dispute it with my credit card company, but I’m not sure if that was intentional or not on their end.

You get what you pay for. My 2-hour trail ride cost $105, almost half of other ranches in the area. As a lifelong trail rider, I was shocked that none of us were given helmets. This is the first time in my 55 years of riding that I rode without a helmet. The guides all seemed bored, as did the horses. It appeared that the ranch has a limited number of trails, which might explain the appearance of boredom. While our guide was pleasant, he didn't seem to care that the 82 year old person who was second to last in a row of 7 horses couldn't hear him due to hearing loss, and he made little effort to connect with the riders. When we got back to the ranch, the guides also didn't seem to connect in any way with the horses. It all felt so routinized that it lacked joy. And joy is one of the main reasons I ride!

We had a two hour ride with Preston as our guide. He was great and really had a ton of patience for people, like me, who had not been on a horse in decades and had no clue how to ride. We rode Jordy and Willow who were great horses. You go on several nice trails and go up to the top of the overlooks. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend taking the two hours to enjoy the views from the upper levels of the hilltops. Very easy booking process and every staff member was very kind.

Incredible. It is well staff and the horses are beautifully cared for. They have a LOT (45) horses so they are not over worked. The guide made sure we knew all he proper commands for the horses even though they are so well trained minimal assistance is needed from the rider to the horse. You ride in a line formation so it is easy to keep track of people. The guide put the our kids 12 &14 right behind him so he could monitor them and I could monitor behind them. 2 hours tour was incredible. Worth every penny spent for the views. (Just a suggestion to take a cash tip for your guide as a nice gesture)

We had a great experience with the trail ride from A OK Corral. I chose this outfitter primarily because the online reviews made it clear they had helmets available for kids. We took our 7 and 9 year olds, neither of which had ever been on a horse. For beginners, it was a great ride. We only did a 1 hour ride, and it was just about right for our family.

The real stand out here was our guide, Rebekah. She was engaging and entertaining, especially for the kids. The initial part of the ride (along the road and Snake River isn’t particularly interesting), but she made it fun for everyone. Our kids are looking forward to watching for her later in the week at the rodeo.

More experienced riders might find it a little boring (although the longer rides might be significantly more interesting and challenging), but for our family of beginners, it was great.

While our trip to Jackson was during a very busy time, the folks at AOK Corral were very helpful and accommodating to our schedule. When we arrived, the guide and the horses were ready to go. Aside from one person in our party, we were complete novices when it came to anything horses! The horses were delightfully well-trained.
We wound through the trees and up a mountain. The scenery was lovely! When we began our ride the weather was fine, but as we approached the top of the mountain a storm arose. Teresa (We adored her!), our guide was so calm, upbeat and reassuring as we continued our ride back to the corral. She kept checking with us to make sure we were okay to continue; that we felt safe and secure. When we arrived back at the corral, all of the young guides were there to help us dismount and get us out of the rain. What a great team! This experience is one we will remember for years to come! Teresa, you've found your calling!

We did the two hour ride with my older sons (11 and 13). We are all pretty new to riding horses, but also wanted to actually see something. This fit that bill. As in most things like this the horses are slow and follow a predictable path, but this one felt a little bit adventurous with some steep up and down going through woods and getting some up high views. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the staff was very accommodating.

We are horse newbies...can't say we have any experience riding a horse. The whole family rode a horse on a 1 hour trail ride. The horses were so gently that my kids (ages 7-10) had no issues with their horses and the trail guide was so nice and helpful. It was a good experience!

Keep in mind while reading this, that I am afraid of horses. As soon as I go on the horse, our guide was doing everything in his power to make me feel comfortable on the horse. We ended up traveling up a mountain, and as we rode, the guide was telling us interesting stories of the land around us. As we got to the top, he took our picture in front of an amazing view. Throughout the whole tour, our guide was nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I wish someone remembered his name so we could suggest him. If you plan on going horseback riding, this is a great place to come.

We took the two hour ride and we all loved it. It begins by going along a road but it’s not too long before the horses start climbing to some higher elevations with beautiful views. It was our boys favorite part of our trip. We paired it with Dave Hansen rafting which gives you a 10% discount on both the ride and raft if you mention it to each party. Well worth the $, our guide was great but I can’t remember her name!
