After two days exploring the Grand Teton area I was a bit lost as to where to find the wildlife and points of interest. I figured a custom tour would be just the thing to help and it sure was. Mark arrived early and after listening to my requests we were quickly off in his vehicle on my custom adventure. Within minutes Mark spotted a group of pronghorn sheep. I had driven the same road a few times and just hadn't see them! Later we took a dirt back road and found red tail hawks. Even if we didn't see wildlife in a targeted area, Mark recommended many hotspot areas and the best times to return on my own later - valuable information I really appreciated and that paid off later with more sightings. We ended the tour at sundown with a memorable experience viewing a mom and baby moose relaxing under a tree.
In the current pandemic situation, having a custom tour where there are no other people besides your own group is another huge benefit providing more peace of mind. Don't hesitate to book a custom tour and enhance your visit to the Grand Tetons.

We had a day tour with Grant in the Grand Tetons. He was great- so knowledgeable, we saw so much wildlife and got great scenic pictures. Also versed on the history behind the areas we toured. He knew the best timing for both- wildlife viewing and when the scenic views. Would absolutely recommend this company.

We had a wonderful time with Mark on this tour. He's very knowledgeable and did his best to show us wildlife in the area. He also shared history of the area and took us to many beautiful scenic areas of the park. I would highly recommend his tour service to anyone who would like a privately guided tour of wildlife in the Tetons.

We went to the Grand Tetons in mid May. Mark met us at our hotel in the park and drove us all over the park. Not only did we get to see a lot of animals, but we also saw historical sites and a lot of great scenery. Mark is very knowledgeable about everything in the park. He is very accommodating and was flexible to whatever we wanted to do. He was able to take us places we would never have gone on our own. He helped us with videos and pictures and even made recommendations. The tour was very enjoyable and I would do it again. This is a great way to see the park and sites.

Our family had the pleasure of joining Mark with Teton Wild Custom Wildlife Tours last month. We were thrilled to have a full day together exploring the beautiful Grand Teton area.
We learned so much from Mark and were so excited to see pronghorn antelope, elk, bison and even a black bear! The highlight for my daughters for sure was the black bear!
We had several beautiful photo opportunities and Mark was so gracious with our time to explore and helped with many family pictures together.
My husband was celebrating his birthday the day of the tour, needless to say, he had the best, unforgettable birthday and it will be hard to beat!

Mark took us out for a half day tour around Teton National Park and gave us a fantastic outing. He’s clearly very knowledgeable of the area and took us on some off the beaten path trails that your average visitor wouldn’t see (highlight was the dirt road leading to Two Oceans Lake). His Suburban is very comfortable and well stocked with plenty of amenities and snacks, perfect for cruising around the National Park. Would gladly book again on our next visit and do the full day tour.

Mark loves the region outdoors & animal life. He is steeped in knowledge of their characteristics, habitat and life patterns. Making him a wonderful guide. He keeps it to small groups where everyone can understand his explanations of events & questions.
He takes the time to stop and get out to view the various animals in the wild. Providing good binoculars for each guest and pointing out interesting details. The Teton national park and the reigning mountains are a very special treat to see and visit.
He also stocks the SUV with a variety of snacks & water to satisfy all the guest. Providing time for rest stops as well.
We throughly enjoyed the trip at all levels. Well worth the time and highly recommended.

My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the world utilizing private guided tours. Mark Bolen clearly is one of the best guides we have experienced. From the start of the tour with a strong handshake - Mark filled our day with education, exciting experience, views of most every type of wildlife including the badger, and all the time filled with activities that made us smile. He knows the area, the wild life and history of the Tetons. Skipping to the end – we have already planned our return to Jackson Hole and have booked Mark for additional touring. We highly recommend hiring Mark for a private tour of this beautiful part of the world.

Of all of the people we could have toured with - we are still so happy we found Mark. Not only was he knowledgeable about the area and took us down fun backroads to view wildlife, he also taught us a ton about the area and about the animals in the area.
My husband and I came to Jackson on our honeymoon and could not have imagined a better tour than what we had with Mark. His charm and patience was so helpful as we totally geeked out over the beauty of the area. We’re already planning our anniversary trip back to the Tetons and plan on calling Mark to book another tour with him.

We had a wonderful day with Mark! Mark is highly knowledgeable of Jackson Hole, the history, the terrain, the wildlife and their habitats. We recommend that you tour with Mark on your first day in Jackson Hole to set the stage for the rest of your visit. You will see many places that you will want to go back and visit again.

Hi, I am trying to understand why this business has all 5 star reviews - yet is listed as #65 of 100 tours in Jackson. Can someone please explain to me why this business is down so far in the ranks (& if that seems fair to you)?

Certainly! Songbirds and predator-birds are here during the summer season. During winter, the birds are strictly scavengers and predator birds.
