Great friendly Staff. Last minute trip and the experience for a first-time rider was amazing. If you don't go you're missing out. It's an 11 out of 10.

This trip was so much fun for all of us!! Molly was our guide - I felt she had a great handle on the boat and was very friendly! The trip length seemed pretty long (in a good way!) and the amount of whitewater was plentiful! Our 11 year old LOVED it as did us parents. I do want to point out that our not-so-daring 7 year old was a bit scared and happy at the same time. We are from Florida and she had only done a float trip in the past but I am happy that we brought her. We sat in back by Molly which I felt was a good stable area for her. Riding bull (on the bow) was the highlight for our 11 year old and there was a little time to jump in the water which was freezing!! Reallly great trip and guides. Would absolutely book a trip with them again!

One of the first things our Guide told us was to keep our toes tucked between the side and bottom of the raft. We were also instructed that when we hit white water, keep paddling. So, for about the first five minutes our team performed with great precision, however the couple in front of us dad NOT like getting wet! Wrong sports! We hit the first set of rapids and they stopped paddling. We hit the second set and they untucked their toes and fell in. My wife and I stayed on board because we followed directions. This was one of the best trips I've ever been on. Hop on board and keep your toes tucked.

There are a lot of outfitters to choose from to raft down Snake River. Here is why you should choose Mad River - (1) they are so organized (2) their guides are funny and skilled (3) the home base has easy parking (4) you feel taken care of. We had young kids and they loved it, partly because the guides were awesome. As soon as it was over we wished we could do it all over again. Mad River rules!
