Teton Backcountry Rentals rents and sells gear for visitors to get out and explore the Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. We enable people to hike the famous Teton Crest Trail in Teton National Park, camp under the stars in Yellowstone and much more. We provide all the equipment necessary for a memorable and fun experience in the outdoors!

We had such a great experience renting the 2021 Hawk Four Wheel Camper on Chevy Silverado. The camper comes with everything you could need for a week out in the wilderness. Fridge, gas stove, sink, hot cold water, heating, fan, bed, chairs, pots cutlery and plates. Everything worked perfectly. There’s some small touches that really make it feel like home. We were given a comprehensive walk through at pickup. A single person can set up the camper with no issues. After a heavy rainstorm we needed the 4 wheel drive.

Rented bear spray for a week and a half at Teton Backcountry Rentals. Staff was super friendly and showed us a training video to use it. Our duration fell under their max. fee, which was half the price of purchasing bear spray outright. We flew in and out on carry-on only, so we wouldn't have been able to bring bear spray with us onto the plane. We returned our bear spray in shop, but they also have drop-off boxes outside their store, at the Jackson Hole Airport, and at their location in West Yellowstone. Very convenient!
They also rent other hiking and safety gear, but we didn't need any. Overall, great place, great service, great prices. We'll be coming back here next time we're around Jackson Hole and need supply rentals!

So much fun and hassle free experience! We flew in from Tennessee. We rented one of their camper trucks and bear spray. The camper trucks have everything you need in order to have a great time exploring and making memories!

I went camping with friends in the Grand Tetons for a few days in June. Backcountry Rentals was able to provide everything that we needed to make this a wonderful experience. High quality equipment, friendly staff and I was even able to drop off my equipment off hours (due to an early flight home) which was so nice! I would definitely recommend and would use them again in the future!

Rented a truck camper from these guys for 5 days for a trip around yellow stone. Super friendly and helpful staff. All equipment worked great. Literally no issues. Best price for camper rental your going to find in the area. Call these guys before anyone else.

We had an amazing time in the Tetons and Yellowstone last month tooling around in Granby. Three of us slept comfortably, had plenty of space to function during storms and were amazed how much food we could cram into the kitchen. Hot showers everywhere!

We rented bear spray from the location between Jackson and GTNP. Really friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. She trained us on how to use the spray and answered any questions. We were able to return it to the airport location which was really convenient for our early flight. Experience was quick, efficient and good value.

Very happy with our experience! We rented the bear spray from the airport and then returned to the shop. Great price and helps to reduce waste! I only wish I had known the rent coolers too, as we bough a disposable one from the grocery store.
Highly recommend and will use again if we return!

I'd say Teton Back Country Rentals is the gear place to get anything you might have forgotten or chose not to travel with on your way to hitting the backcountry. They literally have it all. I found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. If you di not necessarily know what you might need they have the staff that are experienced enough to direct you to what you might need so any experience level should feel comfortable.
We rented bear spray, trekking polls and a cooler. No problems with the return and checkout process.

First time camping in Wyoming. Camper was easy to use, lots of advice and help with itinerary from Dane and Patrick. Was able to pick up early and spent an hour teaching us how to use. Very clean and professional staff. Would highly recommend!
