I almost don’t want to write a review, just to keep this place a secret! It is an amazing mountain! Don’t let the 1 lift scare you! There is plenty of terrain to occupy a weekend! The owners who are also the cooks/retail staff/everything else needed, are amazing! So helpful and friendly! The food in the lodge is great too!!! I highly suggest hitting up this resort, just don’t tell to many people about it! Ssshhhh....

1 lift! Huge coverage area. Easy runs for the kids, and challenging stuff for more advanced riders. There is even a cornice with a 15 ft drop. Best value resort we've been to. Nice motel and restaurant a few minutes away: Hideout Motel and Gold Buckle Grill. Will come again soon!

We'd never heard of Pine Creek Ski Area until we were looking for a stopping point partway along a drive through Wyoming. This is a true hidden gem - and not even that hidden, it's only about 10-15 minutes from Cokeville, which is right on the way toward Jackson and the Tetons. There's one pretty slow quad chairlift, all the better to catch some of the 360 degree views near the top. There's surprising terrain variety, both groomed and ungroomed. There's not snowmaking, all natural snow, and even though it was a bit thin in parts, if you hit anything in the powder it was most likely just grass. Super friendly staff, warm lodge, great breakfast, fire blazing in the fireplace. Highly recommended for a low-key ski morning.

I thought my husband was kidding when he wanted to go here. I am sure glad we did. Best skiing I have had all year. And this place is all about the skiing (or boarding). This little resort has this terrific feel to it. Reminds me of Brighton in the good old days. The staff is very friendly. The lodge had great food and service. And the skiing..... holy cow. We were lucky and got there right after a storm. And there was powder everywhere, and so many runs that we were still skiing powder at quitting time. We are going to make this an annual event. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.

Our family has been skiing here every winter for a decade. We've skied at expensive resorts throughout Idaho and Utah, but will always come back to Pine Creek. It is just the right size, seldom crowded, run by an amazing family, and has some really challenging and always enjoyable runs. The price can't be beat and all five of my kids feel at home when they are there. They learned here with a great Ski School program and can outski any friends their age when visiting expensive resorts.
