The Shoshone National Forest is on the East side of Yellowstone, West of Cody, Wyoming. It has campgrounds, picnic areas, and a ton of space to explore. The scenery is incredible. Enjoy year round.

Stayed at a local ranch and enjoyed the fishing and scenery. Worth the drive from Cody. Mountain views re glorious in the morning and evening!

The Forest is so beautiful. Shell Falls is a waterfall that you can walk down to a landing for a really fabulous view of the Falls.

This national forest is huge and varied. We camped in five spots over six days and loved them all. Great views and not very crowded.
