The entire museum is a must see and the revamped Cody Firearms portion is incredibly fascinating. One of my favorite museums.

Walked through for about an hour and have a feeling I didn't even see close to half the firearms. Impressive amount and quality of all sorts- I wouldn't call myself a firearm hobbyist but the history and variation in the collection is amazing. I wanted to find the four national treasures but failed to. An extremely well done display. My... More

We could have spent hours in this portion of the museum. It goes from Civil War Guns to today's armory, including but not limited to the making of guns/rifles, ammunition and by each manufacturer (Smith & Wesson, Glock, Sig Saur, Colt, & Ruger), etc.

If you are a history buff and especially one of the Wild West era, this is a must see place. The firearms they have from different eras as far back as the 14th century is phenomenal. You might not think guns were so interesting but many of the older ones are also works of art with engravings and silver.. I would like to have seen video of some of the older technology in action. It was hard to picture how a wheel lock operated.Great visit and I would recommend stopping at Cody just to see this.

You could spend days and days here, incredible firearms displays, including Hemingway's rifle and the extensive firearms display in the basement (do not miss that!)

Wow!! There are so many firearms here, I was overwhelmed trying to read everything I wanted too. I would have need several hours to try to read. Unfortunately, our time was too short, so we will just have to go back! There are thousands of firearms and the exhibits are beautifully put together and displayed. There are also wonderful, and...
