The rodeo in Wyoming was such a fun thing to experience! My family had never been to a rodeo before and this was the best, first rodeo we went to! The people in the rodeo were nice and fun to talk to. As you enter there is a giant, real life, bull that you can take pictures on and it... More

Lots of fun for the whole family. We went for the nightly rodeo and brought my brother-in-law who had never seen one. It had everything you'd expect in a traditional rodeo barrel racing, catching cattle, bucking horses and of course bull riding. I do have to say usually prefer to just watch Bull Riding (if we're out that way again,... More

Fun activity, but we were not prepared for the cold and winds - in July! We were miserable the whole time. They sell blankets, but they run out quickly and cost a fortune. Bring your own and/or dress appropriately!

We went through Cody, WY on our way to Yellowstone in June 2015. I learned about the rodeo online when investigating places to stay, We stayed in a cabin at the Cody KOA. The KOA provided a bus to the rodeo. The bus trip was a hoot. The rodeo is best seen from the far stands. This is where the... More

We visited the nightly rodeo whilst in Cody. Yes, it is a small town affair (not to be confused with the annual stampede, but great fun and value for money. We enjoyed the experience and took a bus that picked up at hotels and dropped us at the rodeo grounds. That was well worth the $5 per person because it... More

Worth the time to see...especially if you've never seen a rodeo before. The announcer and rodeo clown duo was a little corny at times, but that's the tradition I believe....they are supposed to tell bad jokes. The competition among the rodeo athletes was a little lacking at times but the setting is wonderful. My daughter and I attended on a... More

Our family went to the rodeo during our stopover in Cody and we had a blast. They do a good job of keeping things moving and the clown does a great job entertaining the crowd in between events. Our 6 year old went out in the arena when they called all of the kids down to try and chase a... More

I guess I did not know what to expect since I have never seen a rodeo before. People attempted to round up young calves and tie their legs, and attempted to ride a bull. Not many people succeeded, I guess this is a rodeo. It was clean, and it was fun to watch all the different people.
