Kids would like this for sure. Free show but if you want good seats, $2 each. Money goes to good cause so no problem with that. Actors seem to enjoy themselves but everyone... read more

We planned our day around being back at the Irma to see the shootout at 6pm. Seats are $2 a piece and you can easily grab one 5 minutes before the show. The show starts with about 10 minutes of promotions for the sponsors. I understand it's free, so the sponsor promotion is necessary, but what are they sponsoring? The... More

This gunshow takes place outside the Irma hotel at 6PM; and at FREE, the price is right! You can pay $2/seat to reserve a seat, and you can do it early, put your names on the seat and then go off until show time. But, you can also sit on the curb down front for FREE! This is a quick... More

Kids would like this for sure. Free show but if you want good seats, $2 each. Money goes to good cause so no problem with that. Actors seem to enjoy themselves but everyone was a little lackadaisical about it all. I'm sure it gets old after a while but their lines could sure use revamping. The loud gun shots were... More

Monday - Saturday at 6 p.m. sit along the street or on the porch of the Irma Hotel and watch a reenactment of an old west gun fight. Kids & adults of all ages will enjoy!

This was a fun way to spend half an hour. We paid the couple of $ for a seat and were placed on the front row. This was a very good show and entertaining, bringing back the old Wild West. Top marks to the people who do this nightly. Good memory to take back home.

My whole family loved the street show. The show is held in front of the historic Irma hotel. It lasts about 30 minutes or so. When it is over you can explore the Irma hotel or get a meal, alcoholic drink, or beer from the porch of the Irma. The actors were very funny and entertaining. Please take time to... More

On the plus side: the Cody Gunfighters troupe performs with gusto outside the historic Irma Hotel, in the heart of Cody's quaint downtown. The "show" is free (though you may not mind paying 2 bucks apiece to sit in folding chairs). Minus side: The re-enactment is amateurish and slapstick. Some of the "actors" wear body mics, others not, but the... More

The actors were horrible but the show was great! They involved the crowd and definitely were entertaining.

I have no frame of reference for rating, not having seen a gunfight reenactment before. It was pretty low tech, not everyone remembered their lines and went off script. I wondered at times if the actors were drinking real alcohol in the prop glasses. My children were a little bored and startled by some of the gunshots, but me and... More

This was the worst "show" we've ever seen. Anywhere. Ever. It's a free performance, and we know why. Wild Bill Cody would most likely be ashamed to have this gunfight affiliated with The Irma Hotel. The show started 15 minutes late, then the first 15 minutes consisted of plugs for area businesses. Sound system was amateur, even when working. It... More
