If you love the outdoors, this is a great place to visit. The scenery is beautiful and with every curve in the road you see something even more spectacular. Will defiantly drive back through this area.

We stayed in the "unreserved" section, arrived early enough in the day to secure a spot and it was great! Our camper does have two showers actually, but for 75 cents, enjoyed the extra space! Very helpful folks that answer the phone; gps took us to the south side of the reservoir, wrong, there are 2 campgrounds located on the... More

Drove through on the way from Cody to Yellowstone. The park was very nice and seemed to have good facilities. make sure to check out the Buffalo Bill Dam.

Terrific place to take a picnic. Get sandwiches from a local place (like The Local) and stop at one of the picnic locations along the North Fork road to eat. Mountains, water, the views of great wide spaces are stunning.

We drove by this area and decided to stop. We didn't stay long as we were on our way to Yellowstone. It's got some gorgeous views.

This is a great park for families! Big pull thru sites that are very roomy! Bring mosquito spray though! They are really bad. Playground for the kids and easy access to the Shoshone River. Vault toilets but nice shower towards the entrance. Would go again.

We were on our way to Yellowstone through the east entrance. Driving through this state park is very beautiful. It could only be better if we were camping and could enjoy it for longer. Many small animals and birds to see. Mountains are awesome. And a few buffalo in the distance.

We visited Buffalo Bill State Park while we stayed in cody wy. on our way to yellowstone. It was real windy that evening so that hindered us somewhat. The lake is wonderful and the picnic areas very nice.It is just off the main highway,The park is actually on the highway.I recommend a stop here on your way to yellowstone national park!

Loads of wildlife to view in the park. Many species of birds call this park home. Great for boating and fishing.
