SOCIAL DISTANCING?STILL WANT TO GO ON VACATION?THIS YEAR WE ARE GOING TO BE DOING SMALLER GROUP TOURS TO KEEP OUR GUESTS AND STAFF SAFE.IF YOU ARE STILL HESITANT ABOUT TAKING A TOUR WITH OTHER GUESTS PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR PRIVATE TOUR OPTIONS.This tour is a wild mustang safari. We start by traveling out to the McCulough peaks herd management area.On the way out your guide will be giving you the history of Cody, the wild mustangs, the area, and Buffalo Bill Cody.Out There you could see many other wild animals, learn about the ecosystem, and controversy over the wild mustangs in the United States. This tour is approximately 2 1/2-3 hours long. Its an amazing place to visit. Its off the grid, the scenery is beautiful, and to find the diminishing wild mustang herd is must see site.Their history is amazing, and their fight to survive is an inspiration.

This was out second stay here. All sites are in a circle and pull in surrounded by beautiful mountains. This park has the best sunrise and sunset views ever! Spaces are very generous in size, and level. It is a very quiet park and only 12 miles from Cody and shopping. Although this park deserves 5 stars, the water was off (has been "broken for a while"). I hope to return to see another absolutely spectacular sunset.

Great spot. We stayed as an overnight to Yellowstone. It’s still 2.5 hours to get to good parts of Yellowstone. Yellowstone is HUGE! But, this park is nice. Only has a few tent sites and they must be previously reserved according to signs there. We had a tent site right on the water, great spot. Bring bug spray, vault toilets. Has a potable water spigot for the campground. July 2020

We stayed in North Fork Campground, space 53. Nice, quiet park. If you think it’s a great home base for Yellowstone, you’re wrong. We were there during the summer of COVID-19 and the RV park inside Yellowstone was closed. It was a 2.5 hour drive each way to get to the good parts of Yellowstone, which cuts your day significantly short. It may be an hour to the park gate, but Yellowstone is HUGE! The park hosts were really friendly and accommodating. They have firewood available for a donation. The RV park was super clean. Spaces paved and level. Lots of green space if you have kids or dogs. They could have put in a lot more spaces, but they didn’t. It’s a really nice place to set up camp. The spaces are in turnouts along a paved circle, so you have no real ‘neighbors’. Lots of stars. Bear in the park 2 days we were there, but we didn’t see it. Spaces are electric-only. They have a dump/water station in the park that’s easy to get to. AT&T service was fine and we could use our Firestick for TV and movies. We also have T-Mobile which shows they have coverage, but they don’t.

The scenery is the best we have found in over a year. The rock walls that surround the campground are beautiful, especially at sunset/sunrise. They keep the grass well-watered but there is no water at the campsites so you need to fill up when entering the campground.
