We rented the 6 seater for 1/2 day (with no prior experience) and did the Peaks to Prairies loop and still had time for some fun at Red Lakes. Renting was super easy (I booked online) and check in/out was quick. We rode around in town down main street for some people watching, then out to the Peaks to Prairie loop for the increíble views, solitude and fun. The few miles on the highway made us a little nervous, but very few other cars were out on that stretch, so it was fine. Then we headed over to Red Lake, which included more spectacular scenery and fun bumps and whoopdeedoos. We still had some time after those loops for a tour to the Dam. Our Cody adventure had a little bit of everything. Thank you so much!!!

We rented two 4 seat Razors and went on the Peaks to Prairies tour with our 2 young adult children and one of their significant others. Armed with an iPad with GPS route we set out for adventure and adventure is what we got. The kids were grinning from ear to ear the entire time. The scenery was amazing and the wildlife abundant. The trail was just rugged enough to be fun and adventurous but still ok for anxious mom sitting in the back! Loved it and would go again if we are ever back in Cody.

Tread n Trails was one of the best experiences I’ve ever done! If you are visiting the Cody area I would %100 recommend an ATV adventure with Tread N Trails! The staff working there was some of the nicest people I have met and really seem to enjoy what they do!

So...the equipment (UTV) is great. The staff. So sweet, the gps NOT SO MUCH(can’t imagine being a true out of town person trying to navigate all this). We spent most of the time getting lost, I feel like a paper back map would be much more efficient so out of town people can get their time spent wisely, we had fun, but expected more: The price is decent for the amount of time. We left deciding we’d go with a different place next time. Due to the lack of direction both with maps and how to wash the UTV after etc. We really wanted to see Cody, wy. From the off beaten path. But if you get lost in the summer you’ll run into a lot of oil rigs and dried up lakes. signal on their iPads are not good enough for the area. Also wanna note during covid-19, I saw no sanitizing going on, not to say they don’t. But my kids just grabbed a helmet off the tack wall. They had no signs posted on precautions their taking during this time. Just a lot of hit and misses

They don't care about your fun or safety, just getting paid. I explained we were new riders. They put us on a "mountain sled" and had a check engine light on. In 10 minutes time it was over heating at 190 degrees. She said we needed to cool it down, I explained again, I'm new, I don't understand, and she said it's a warm day, and its going to be hard to keep cool. She finally switched us to a trail sled that stayed cool, but for some reason her sister road it to school so we had to wait for her to go get it. check in was 8am, by the time they got us the right sleds it was 10:30am. I asked for a discount because their machines were faulty and i got met with attitude. She called the owner and said there would be a discount in my email. But without cell service you cant check until way out of town... and guess what, no email. They are not helpful, or knowledgeable about their sleds, and will put novice riders in danger without care. Do not recommend.

I have rented from Tread n Trails for the last 4 years (each summer) and they are the very best. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate their customers and are very easy to work with and make arrangements for a rental. The machines (slingshots) we rent are always clean and in great working order. Thanks to the staff and we will continue to support thier business every summer.

This machine was made for the Big Horn Basin that surrounds Cody, Wyoming. We rented a 4 seater for a full 8 hour day and definitely saw a lot of what the area had to offer! Started the day by climbing mountains around Buffalo Bill Reservoir, then decided to explore the desert/prarie area southeast of Cody and saw a to of pronghorn. It was a GREAT way to spend the day!

We rented a Polaris Ranger and went out to Oregon Basin. Nice, easy trails. GPS was fairly easy to use although we did have to backpack a couple times. We saw several antelope and the petroglyphs. Beautiful views.
We were heading into McCullough Peaks for the 2nd half of our day and unfortunately our UTV was overheating so we headed back in. They offered to swap us machines but we decided we were happy with what we had seen and they were good about getting us a refund for the missed 1/2 day. We would definitely go back again, would've loved to see the wild mustangs!

We took the all day trip and thoroughly enjoyed every minute in the "General". We were able to do the trip to the peak above Cody and then did the flats and many peaks south of Cody. The snow capped peaks in the distance from many views were especially inspiring as well as the many challenging climbs to those viewpoints.
The ATV was a very impressive machine. It afforded great comfort to enhance the sometimes very challenging climbs.
We want to make sure to mention the great directions and advice we received from Dalton at Treads n Trails (Cody, WY). He was outstanding.
If you find yourself in Cody with a half/full day to fill give Treads n Trails a call, you will truly enjoy every minute.

Highly suggest TNT when visiting Cody, we rented a 4 seater General and went to the McCullough Peaks. We saw a ton of wildlife, unbelievable views and hardly saw any other people while riding. Staff at TNT were very friendly and helpful all while letting you do you. They have helmets and goggles available but you are not required to wear them. It will definitely be on my to do list when I return to Cody and will suggest to anybody that I know is visiting Cody.
