Driving in Teton National Forest was excellent lovely mountain range nice clear day saw the snow on the mountains and also on the ground sheltered from the sunlight. So very impressive would go again worth seeing.
Still wondering how Yellowstone gets top billing??? The best views, most are absurdly easily accessible and the entire place is just stunning. Here and the trip between Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho and Whitefish, MT are the best I have seen in the continental US.
We had a great visit to Jackson Hole and the Tetons. Top of Rondevous Mountain was a highlight as was sunrise at Mormon Row. Wow! So glad we took the opportunity to see the park early in the morning. Highly recommend the Alpenhof Resort!
Beautiful, vast, untouched scenery; worth many visits back. Drove through slowly to enjoy as much as possible. Periodically other drivers seem to be in a hurry. Just pulled over and let them go. Take the time to enjoy this beautiful country!
The Grand Teton's are beautiful and a must see if you are in the area. Be aware that you can get into the park from Yellowstone, but if you leave and come back in, you will have to pay a separate fee. I would love...More

For others who may ask this similar question, yes. Jackson thru the Tetons, then Yellowstone will be a little over an hour, almost two. All depending on traffic (people slowing down to take photos, or see wildlife). Tetons to Yellowstone is about an hour and expect some time getting into Yellowstone. Once in, if you are heading to Cody, the drive can be a few hours just to get to the Yellowstone exit to Cody. Then just about an hour. Most of these times are all depending on traffic, road congestion, wildlife, construction, and weather.
To travel between the two in a day, should not be a problem.
