An amiable gentleman greeted us upon our arrival—fascinating information about the impact of many women on Wyoming and the West. Much of the information I never knew before. The details about the individuals [and other] were easy to read, and there were many authentic visual props, pictures, and other infographics to tell the story better. We stopped by as we were walking on the Boot tour. No charge for entering, but we left a donation to keep the lights on. Make an effort to visit during visiting hours.

The museum does have some interesting displays but there is a LOT of reading to be done. Downtown parking is marginal (2 hours) though one could park in a structure a couple of blocks away.

A neat collection of cowgirl history not to mention a friendly greeter. It’s worth stopping by to see all they have to offer.

This museum is small, but has interesting exhibits that showcase the contributions of the cowgirls. Names of these cowgirls and their contributions are posted on the walls. Also on display are boots, jewelries, bags, clothing, etc. Next door is their related shop that sells women-related items such as clothing, jewelries, bags, calendars, etc.

It’s a tiny place with tons of pictures, artifacts, stories - just lots to see and learn about women and cowgirls! The women who work there were very friendly. I’m coming back next month when I’m in town because I did not get to see and read everything!
