It is not crowded. It often has great snow. It is beautiful and accessible. The trees block the wind, and it has excellent prices. The lodge is rustic--an alternative to Vail or other luxury villages.

Great day trip from northern Colorado! No traffic, no mess, easy drive. I grew up skiing at several small mountains back east with about 30 runs and trails each. I loved all of the similarities to home (PA and WV). I will be back! I can't wait to get my season pass for next year. Plus my family members who... More

We loved skiing at Snowy Range! It was a great first skiing experience for our kids (ages 12, 10 and 7) and great for us too as we hadn't skied in over 15 years. There was no traffic getting to the resort. It was affordable and not crowded. There was minimal to no wait for lifts. Three of our kids... More

Took 2 kids ages 10 & 12 on their first ski vacation. Had a great time! Very affordable. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff - so friendly and helpful. Will be returning in the future.

We love coming to Snowy Range every year. The ski school and instructors, lift attendants and all staff are awesome. No crowds makes this an enjoyable place to go. Very reasonably priced and a great place for kids just learning.

Couldn't have been more pleased with the beautiful lodge and friendly staff at the Snowy Range ski resort. The lodge was handicap accessible which was so helpful! Every staff we talked with was friendly and helpful! The skiing was great! We can't wait to go back!

Great value for skiing and a great skiing experience. Service was great and helpful. Took family and regardless of ability level, everyone seemed to get what they needed. A nice little secret tucked away in the Snowy Mountain. Having Laramie nearly also adds to the options and fun.

I was visiting my son in Laramie so I bought tickets off Liftopia for this ski area -a bargain at $37. The lodge was surprisingly clean, new and well-run. I rented gear, and the process was quick and efficient with the boot rental clerk kindly buckling my boots on tight enough for my skinny ankles. I bought the "premium" ski... More

We have been skiing here almost every year since 1990. It is a family friendly area in the rockies. It's views and runs are not as spectacular as those well known in Colorado, but he cost to ski here and stay nearby are significantly less (2-day pass and equipment just $145). Snow conditions are OK, almost never deep powder, but... More

We were a very large group going to ski for my sister-in-laws birthday. We have come to Snowy Range for many years, for the low cost tickets and rentals, and easy access location. I took Ski School classes this year, from Martin, who was amazing! So good with all my questions, and made me feel very relaxed and confident about... More
