The museum was a real gem. We had reciprocity with our membership at another museum back home; so we planned to see this on our way through WY. It's a small museum, but its permanent collection is great. There was even a sculpture garden.

The all American art collection in this museum is small but interresting. There are temporary exhibitions, like local photography. The intentions are to make things bigger in the future

The Nic has many interactive activities for young and old. The museum is housed in an older building downtown and the inside has been renovated and is very nice.

The Biennial fellowship exhibition showcased outstanding artwork created by Wyoming Artists selected as visual arts fellowship recipients. The work was unique, beautiful and thought provoking. The fiber art of Georgia Rowswell was exquisite, a must see.

They charge $10 per person to see their exhibits. Very expensive for the small size of their collections.
