About
Dells Zipline Adventures (formerly Heightened Adventures) offers a Zipline and Adventure Park located on six scenic acres within Chula Vista Resort. You will find something for everyone in the family. Our Zipline Park consists of 7 thrilling ziplines that soar above and through a picturesque canyon and classic Wisconsin Dells sandstone rock formations. The Adventure park consists of four courses with a varying degree of height and difficulty. Participants can explore the courses at their own pace while creating memories to last a lifetime. Before entering the parks, participants will go through an orientation session with our highly trained park monitors at our on site "Ground School." Dells Zipline Adventures makes for an amazing individual or group experience. For those who wish to watch the fun there are observation areas for family members and friends to get a great view of the action.

I bought my daughter (8 y/o) and I the Zipline pass and we had THE BEST time! This was our first time ziplining and all the instructors were amazing. They were so friendly, patient, and encouraging when my daughter was learning how to use the clips and when she was nervous. We were able to do all the lines (17 I think). The entire course was in great condition and we felt completely safe the entire time.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking for about 2 hours of fun (especially if you are experiencing ziplines for the first time). 😃 It was well worth the money for the amount of lines you get!

Heads up though... The 2 biggest ziplines were 1st 😬, but the more physically challenging lines were the ones through the woods. For those you had to control your clips, your landings, and climb across a few rope bridges to get to the next line.

We took our kids ages 16-22 to the zip lining and then ropes course. They had a great time. There were 18 zip lines, and the ropes course was progressive. What made the experience even better, though, was the instructor Michael. He is a student from Jamaica and here working for the summer. He was knowledgeable, personable, and made sure everyone in the group had a great time. We had one afraid of heights, and he went out of his way to help and encourage him. The experience would have been much different without Michael.

Chris was absolutely amazing! There was a guy from Jamaica, and I can’t remember his name. I think he was called “Lenwood” or something…. but THEY WERE AMAZING. It was our first time zip lining ever so we were terrible at it, but these men were nothing but patient, kind, and respectful. They were SO accommodating and helpful. 10/10 would recommend and will return again!!

Great zip line experience for the family. Adrian was a GREAT guide!!! We were a little nervous at first, but he calmly explained the safety features and put our mind at ease. Would recommend for families with teens. Takes about 45 min to an hour!!

We chose Hightend Adventure because it is IN THE SHADE! Beautiful wooded area, we went at 11am on a 85 degree day and the heat and sun were not an issue. Hard to find an activity that a 14, 9, and 5 yr old can all enjoy. We did just the ropes course which had some zip lining in between the obstacles. Not zip lining through a canyon, but was fun moving from obstacle to obstacle and especially for 5 and 9 yr old who had never done it before. 14 yr old has zip lined and done some rope courses before. He enjoyed it and sped through course but was still challenged. Only lost footing on the advanced course, but could hang on and keep going. 14 yr old did all 4 courses. 9 yr old got a little nervous on 3rd course, but kept going and was able to hook herself up to course all by herself. 5 yr old needed help on a zipline, but went through all 3 courses. Plus size mom made it half way through 2nd course and fell off on paddle boards. Had to be lowered to ground, but not a big deal, I was just done at that point. Guide went up and went with 5 yr old through rest of that course and 3rd course to move him through obstacles. This was amazing as I think I could have made it through the 2nd course, if I had not fallen, but no way could I have done the 3rd course. The course get higher and harder as you go. I am plus size and no upper body strength, but had fun! So moms, give it a try! Don't go to that new course to bake in the sun! They even helped get grandma and her folding wheelchair out to the site so she could watch. We were not expecting to do this on our trip but everyone had a great time. Plus different price tickets for kids and adults. We were there for 2 hours, called ahead by 2 hours for reservations day of. Go to the bathroom first, no bathrooms, and bring water. We are all still talking about it the day after!

Our family has been to Heightened Adventures twice and are more impressed each time. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and available to answer questions and assist at all times!! We have visited in the summer and now in the fall--both times were amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I had a hard time picking a zipline adventure from info on the internet. It is a challenge because our daughters are five and twenty. We wanted something the five year old could do that wasn't too babyish but also would not scare her to death. Heightened Adventures did not disappoint! It is an aerial course that includes ziplines (short and not very fast on the beginner level). There are four levels of difficulty and they give you two hours to complete as many as you can. After training at the beginning, you are on the course by yourself. If you are looking for just ziplining, this is not what you want - it is so much more than that. Our guide was Jenny - she was incredible! She really encouraged the girls and was fun to talk to.

Tip #1: Children under a certain age (I believe 8?) must have an adult accompany them.

Tip #2: If your child is easily scared, do not take your child here. Our five year old is somewhat adventurous. She made it through the entire course, shed some scared tears along the way but she was happy at the end and asked to do it again.

Tip #3: Our GPS took us to the wrong spot. It is located at Chula Vista. When you come to the first stop sign inside Chula Vista (the resort is straight ahead, restaurant to the right), turn left. The little brown building on the left corner is registration.

Tip #4: We stopped in town and got a coupon that saved us $10/person. Very helpful. I would guess these are available at most tourist brochure kiosks in hotels, restaurants, etc.

Tip #5: Our guide did not go on the course with the girls. What I like about this course is that the guides give you training at the beginning. From that moment, you are free to go at your own pace. I like this because you are not slowed down by someone in the group who does not move at your pace and vice versa. It also gives you more independence to complete it on your own. By the time our two girls were done with yellow (beginners) others in our group were on the black course ( most difficult).

Tip #6: They let us go with and watch, so be sure to bring your camera!

Highly recommend for groups of varying ages.

Had my children and grandchildren in from out of state that does this kind of thing all the time. My group ranged in age from 8 to 40 and everyone had a wonderful time. This is one of the best deals in the Dells and I would love to do it again (and probably will). Our guide was a wonderful young man who let us do our own thing but was also there when assistance was needed. Just do it !
