Haunted History Trolley Tour in Wisconsin Dells

The haunted trolley will take you to the darker side of the Dells. Prepare to learn about the hidden side of the Dells & the surprising haunted history they try to cover up! We visit a very haunted cemetery, discuss multiple haunted locations and tell you the frightening details. There are stops where we get off of the trolley, if you dare. We will look for orbs (watch out for the red orbs.) We will use our ghost meter in the search for spiritual energy. Fancy marketing has kept the death and tragedy hidden in the Dells, until now. We are going to tell & show you what they don't want you to know. Some of these stories may keep you up at night. Join us on the Haunted Dells Trolley tour and become a believer!

Delightful shop bringing the past to the present with their wonderful photography. Purchased a few items to display in my home. Plus a break from all the t-shirt and souvenir shops!

WOW! What a little gem of a place. Very informative & interesting, though maybe not for younger kids. They do have a pattern on the carpet in one area, where you can try to do "the Leap", as in Bennett's famous photo! Definitely a good "follow-on" activity after going on the Upper Dells boat tour, where the dogs do "the Leap". Bennett invented many photographic tools & processes, which were interesting to learn about. Admission is $10, but there is a "buy one get one" coupon in one of the booklets at the Visitor's Center in town.

May not be for everyone, it IS basically an historical museum, so there's lots of things to "read" and learn. As 2 older adults, we found it quite interesting to learn about the man who made Wisconsin Dells famous!

One of a dozen venues of the Wisconsin Historical Society, this studio and the adjacent museum bring into focus the exploits of a Civil War veteran who not only modernized outdoor photography but was the main promoter of the Wisconsin Dells. The museum features intriguing photographic artifacts as well as a well-told story of how, during the late 1800s, Bennett spread the news around the country of the natural beauty of the Dells located 50 miles north of Madison. Well worth an hour of quiet time away from the area's tee shirt shops, fudge emporiums, minigolf, and waterparks.
