A must see at the Wisconsin Dells. A walk back in time.

We have seen this at the Dells before, but decided to take the tour. I can't believe how fascinating this tour was. I am a history bluff, but I think anyone would enjoy.

My wife and I stopped in while in the Dells to learn a little about how the Dells became the Dells. The Studio has a great collection of information and artifacts that shares the story of Bennett and the Dells. We enjoyed the museum and really liked the preserved studio and storefront space.

Interesting and historically informative. A little known gems in the Dells. Right near everything in the downtown area.

We toured this museum the day after we took the Upper Dells boat tour. Very interesting photography in this museum of sites we saw on the tour. Also very knowledgeable staff. Well worth spending an hour or so at this museum.

My husband and I had gone through a tour a couple of years ago, but our then 1 year old was with us, so we decided to try again just the two of us. It was very interesting and we enjoyed ourselves. The two women working there inquired if we would like to visit the gallery upstairs where they had... More

Was very interesting museum on the life of a fantastic photographer. He invented several forms of style photography.

We were advised by our Dell Boat Tour guides that this would be a good way to spend part of the rainy afternoon. H H Bennett was the photographer who was first fascinated by and explored and photographed the dells. His photographs drew tourists from everywhere. He innovated the photographic process, first using the shutter to capture action. The museum... More

A small but very interesting museum. A lot to see and take in. Didn't have a lot of time to read and see all that the museum has to offer

Explains history of the area and entrepreneurship of a very smart man! Might be easy to miss, located on the main down town strip.

No children in tow so the water and adventure parks didn't call to us. Instead we spent time in the Dells and then came across this studio museum. Only a donation is requested to enter. On entering I first thought it was quite tiny and wouldn't take long. But it meanders through two buildings connected as one and presents the history,... More
