This is a great place to visit, for both couples or families. All of the volunteers are very friendly and happy to give you a tour if you have time before your train ride. It's a great way to relax and really take in all the beauty of the area!

We stopped in the Wisconsin Dells visitor's center and were told about R&GN, otherwise we never would have known about it, more people need to go here! Great adventure for my train loving 3 year old, my wife and I enjoyed the train ride as well.

We took this train ride as an option for something different to do! Boy were we glad we did! ALL of the volunteers were VERY friendly and the little train was adorable and was size friendly for adults! It wasn't far from downtown so the drive was short and directionally easy! RECOMMEND!

We had a great time on the steam train going through the canyons. We saw a deer on the trip. This is a great thing to on a raining day. I give this an A+

This is a beautiful mostly volunteer run railroad! These kind of attractions are the must-dos as they are a national treasure compared to the giant parks. Well worth the stop and only a few minutes off the main strip! You will enjoy the train ride and the nostalgic charm!

Great little train ride through the woods. But you do have to get out at one point so they can talk, my four year old did fine, but I know my two year old wouldn't sit still for this. You can tell the people who work here love their jobs and are more than willing to talk with you about... More

We have an avid railfan in our family, so we try to ride a train everywhere we go. Even though this is a 1/4 scale train, it is by far the best one we have ridden. Everything is run by volunteers, and they really love their train. The ride is about 45 minutes long, and they even have their own... More
