The R&GN is a 15-inch gauge railway living museum offering fun for young and old. Ride our live coal fired steam trains along a 3 mile roadbed winding through scenic canyons, beautiful wooded areas, and majestic rock cuts beside the Dells of the Wisconsin River. Watch the locomotive being turned on a hand operated turntable at Western Springs, and turned again at the final stop at the Hyde Park depot. Before or after your ride, enjoy a picnic with your family, visit our exhibits and stop by our Museum Store with your children for a wide selection of railroad and museum memorabilia, books and magazines, videos and music, hats and clothing for children and adults, and of course Thomas the Train Products™.

Thank you for your kind response. I'm so glad that everyone enjoyed their train ride at our little Railroad. We try very hard to keep pricing down as much as possible. We haven't raised our prices for the train ride in 10 years or more!...More

All you see here are miniature trains and tracks. It is funny but definitely worth a visit. Like everything else, the tracks and trains have some interesting history. This is for if you have never experienced the ride in steam engine trains. There is tons...More

I took my five year old daughter to this place, and she just loved it! It is a perfect stop for young train lovers. They hand out popcorn for the ride, and there is a gift shop and bathroom too.

Totally worth the stop. the ride was nice and scenic. You stop at the end for a little bit and the engineer tells you about the train. it's a real steam engine! Not super crazy busy like most Dells stuff. Nice park to eat lunch...More

Great for all ages! The train goes through a little canyon and it's a very pleasant view. Steam engine trains were very cool. My toddler absolutely loved the train and the experience. We will be back next year!

This is a must see attraction. Very interesting train ride and tslk. Almont everyone there is a volunteer. Well maintained grounds. Nice gift shop.

I think it's $12 for an adult admission. Kids under a certain age are free. There is a BOGO coupon for this in the Dells coupon book and I think it's also part of the splash pass. I don't mind the price too much though as... More
