Included this in our Passport Savings bundled at the Dells. By purchasing this attractions with a few others, it was basically free (or super cheap) for our family of 6. We were here for probably 60-90 minutes. It was fairly busy and we actually switched courses because we noticed a line on the medium difficult course (moved onto the hardest one). The views of the area were great, the holes were challenging, but did seems bit run down in spots.

This is our go to Dells mini golf spot. There are different levels of play and we did the medium level this time where all holes were 2 par. The course was up high and it was a beautiful, breezy warm day to be out. The greens seemed to be newer and in great shape.
The girl at the counter wore a mask, if you care about those silly things, and the clubs & balls were sanitized. We had a coupon from our hotel so it was a cheap date.

This is a great way to spend a morning with the family. We had discounted tickets from our hotel and ended up playing another 18 holes because it was so fun. It’s great that there are options based on how challenging you want the course to be. We have driven by here many times...so glad we stopped by. Very enjoyable for myself and for my 3 teenagers.

Five different courses ingeniously spaced all over a mountain with lots of running water and waterfalls. 91 total hole, 3 of the usual par 36 courses and two more demanding courses. The nice thing is you pay for the first 18 and then subsequent 18's are half price and you get tickets when you pay so you can play 18 and then come back another day and play another 18 or 36, whatever you bought. Holes are very well maintained and roll true. Great views of the surrounding area from up on top of the mountain and the staff, mostly older teens, were very friendly. This is an exceptional mini-golf course and it stays busy.

Parents of toddlers BEWARE
My family came on Labor Day weekend to enjoy a round of golf. Being a holiday weekend I understood it would be busy and it was. I have teens in my group so I decided to have my husband and older children play golf while I take my toddler to explore it’s beautiful there. Toddlers are free with a paid adult since I had paid for 4 adults and 2 children we grabbed him the free golf club
On our first hole I wanted to take some pictures and let my toddler hit the ball once. A worker informed me that I could not be out there without a putter I informed him I wasn’t playing and was leaving with my little guy who doesn’t have patience (I didn’t want to hold up the people behind us with a toddler) he left and within 2 minutes a very aggressive lady worker comes up and starts shouting at me that I can’t be here mind you we are still on the first hole so I start walking away towards the entrance telling my husband to call me when the baby was done then she continues with my family hollering about how it’s not fair to others that I stand there to help my toddler. Wish they were more upfront when I paid for my family and they had no reason to be so nasty and aggressive they were watching me like a hawk while I waited at the entrance (no need I had no intention of going back up) for my toddler. I felt so uncomfortable that I grabbed him and left couldn’t even wait for my family who also were unable to enjoy there minigolf

The mini golf here is pretty average. It’s much prettier than it is interesting. When playing, it can get boring. This is not nearly as themed as other Pirates Cove locations. The price is fine; find a coupon at any hotel. I paid $22 for 2 people for 2 rounds each (with coupon).
I’d check out the other mini golf down the road closer to Downtown.

This is a really nice facility. Staff was helpful and the courses were easy to navigate. If you go on a hot day, I'd recommend making sure you stay well-hydrated. Depending upon the course, you can end up spending a lot of time in the sun. That being said, we had a great time and would definitely go there again.

We went to play a round of mini golf. We started playing and it poured down rain. Without any chance of getting a rain check we decided to finish in the rain. We still had a good time!

This was probably the nicest landscaped mini golf course I have ever been to. There are multiple courses to choose from depending on skill level and it is very well maintained. The prices were reasonable and while there were a lot of people there when we went we didn't have to wait because there are so many courses. Very nice night-time activity.

We always include a 91 hole competition at Pirate's Cove as part of our annual family vacation. Spread out over several days and usually going in the evening to avoid the sun/heat! Holes are challenging but fun and the walk UP THE HILL is great cardio. View is AMAZING! Caption's Hook 19 is our very least favorite and will probably be skipped the next time we go.

Time will vary a bit based on how quickly your group of 4 adults play as well as how quick and/or slow the group(s) in front of you play.
Assuming that your not rushing through or skipping holes, so you'd be spending a few minute playing through each hole. I would say you're looking at a little less than an hour per 18 holes, which would be about three minutes playing each individual hole.
So a few hours to play all 91 holes (i.e., 4+ hours depending on how quickly things move along).

We've been to the Dell's twice, but have never gone to mini golf place. Since our last trip, my daughter has fallen in love with mini golf, and I thought I would try and find a place to play. Unfortunately, it sounds like the current staff is less than ideal when it comes to dealing with customers. It also seems like management's answer is "we're dealing with it." My question is, are you really addressing these issues?
Written June 17, 2015
Yes, as the General Manager I have addressed these issues with the employees through both written and
verbal communication thus far. I have explained that customers are our most valuable assets and that they deserve out utmost attention and the best possible service. In addition, I continually monitor employees to ensure customers are being treated properly.
I'm glad to hear that your daughter and family enjoy mini golf and truly hope that you will make Pirate's Cove a stop on your next vacation to Wisconsin Dells. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Dominic F., General Manager
